American Idol Reject Denies Bitterness

The word bitter used to describe a person is pretty much clear in definition but that’s not going to stop American Idol reject Carmen Rasmusen from denying that she’s being bitter. Earlier this week, the wannabeen claimed in an article she wrote that the show was rigged and that some contestants are favoured and treated better than others. A few days after it came out, Carmen said that it wasn’t written out of bitterness but rather insightfulness saying “The only point I was trying to make was that some contestants get more attention than others.” Did she miss the part where she rattled on about getting beaten by a guy who spent more time with the same vocal coach she had? That’s what you call being a sore loser.

Britney Spears: Actress

It seems that Britney Spears may be having a change of careers. The New York Post is reporting that Poppa Spears wants her to do more TV because it’s more of a “normal 9-to-5 job” that will “keep her working and out of trouble”. It seems that the Brit conservator is looking around for more TV work for the recovering starlet and is “exploring several offers for Britney to have her own show”. Let’s hope that none of those offers are for reality TV. Poppa Spears may be in luck though as ’30 Rock’ star Tina Fey has been vocal that she would welcome Britney for a guest spot on her show – she just needs to get in contact with her.

Lily Allen Season 2

Despite people losing interest in her show, Lily Allen’s BBC talk show has been given the go for a second season. The singer’s show opened to mix reviews and poor ratings at just 255,000 viewers for the first episode. Figures then fell to 173,000 at the beginning of last month. But then figures rose to 300,000 viewers for the more recent episode which may be the reason for the season 2 green light. A BBC exec even praised Lily saying that she’s “developed astoundingly well as a TV host in just a few weeks.” After a crappy couple of months, Lily deserves some sunshine after all.

Britney’s New Endeavor

Britney Spears recently got a taste of doing a decent job when she was a guest star on the comedy ‘How I Met Your Mother’ and it seems that it was just what she needed to get going. The recovering pop star is back and she’s back with a vengeance! Britney is said to be regrouping, reprioritizing and is set on getting her like and career back on track. She’s also said to be keeping busy with new projects and focusing on the future. A source close to the starlet reveals that she’s going to open her own dance studio called ‘The Basement’. Brit has been teaching classes to children at Millennium Dance Studios so opening her own studio is the natural evolution of that. Good luck Britney!

American Idol Stage Dad

American Idol sources have said that David Archuleta’s father, Jeff, is a stage dad. They say that Jeff actually made David cry when his recording didn’t go so well. If you think it’s mere rumor, here’s something else to swallow. Sources from ‘Star Search’, another show that David was on, Jeff’s behaviour was so bad that he was actually barred from the lot. They also say that her harassed Tiffany Evans, David’s rival on the show, by lurking outside her practices and even coercing her to drink milk before a show to ruin her voice. As far as Idol goes, Jeff’s wrath is still in bloom. Poor David.

Britney Spears on TV

Here’s a look at Britney Spears during her appearance on the CBS sitcom ‘How I Met Your Mother’. The episode in which the recovering starlet makes a guest appearance is set to air on March 24. In the episode, Brit plays Abby, a secretary at a dermatologist’s office. Soon after meeting Josh Radnor’s character Ted, Abby becomes smitten even having the line “Can we have sex and then go shopping?” While shooting the episode, the show’s star Neil Patrick Harris was asked how Britney was in the role, to which he replied with “She’s been doing well. Surprisingly, no British accent.”

Homeless American Idol Gets to Work

American Idol’s Hollywood Week castoff Josiah Leming was living out of his car when he auditioned for the show. But earlier this week, the teenager with a British accent when he sings was spotted on his way to a business meeting at Mr. Chow in Beverly Hills. The kid also plans on getting into the recording studio within the next few months. That’s more than what many former Top 12 Idols can even claim. Although there’s no word on where or in what he’s currently living in, he’s definitely making his way up. Good for him! The kid deserves some good fortune.

Britney Spears’s TV Return

Maybe producers think casting Britney Spears will up their ratings….I mean, who can pass up the chance to watch a train wreck? It has been announced that she is going to guest star on How I Met Your Mother.

Britney’s character is a dermatologist’s assistant. The dermatologist’s part was going to be played by Alicia Silverstone, but Alicia decided that having Britney around would overshadow her, so she dropped out. Instead, the producers found a last minute replacement in Sarah Chalke, star of Scrubs. She’s used to being a fill in…she took over the role of Becky Connor on Roseanne for the last three seasons after Lecy Goranson, the original Becky, left for college.

The episode of How I Met Your Mother is set to air at the end of April.

Being Bobby Brown

R&B crooner Bobby Brown’s first reality show ‘Being Bobby Brown’ may have been cancelled but it’s not stopping him from being on another one. He’s currently on the show which features artists trying to have a go at singing country and Whitney Houston’s ex-husband is showing just how bad it is to be Bobby Brown.

During one episode, Bobby is shown attempting to pee on Dee Snider’s face. Fortunately, she woke up and quickly dragged him to the bathroom before he could do so. Apparently, Bobby suffers from sleepwalking among other things – like drinking and farting in people’s faces. Just ask Carnie Wilson.

It is that time of year. Everyone is making resolutions, clearing out closets and revealing secrets so that they can enter the New Year with a fresh start.

90s rapper Coolio was spotted by cameras in Hollywood last week. And even after all this time, he’s still sporting his timeless and classic old hairdo. Coolio is reportedly about to join the reality TV band wagon with the show ‘ Coolio & the Gang’ which debuts next year on the Oxygen Network. It will be about him and his 6 kids. Talk about being part of the Brady Bunch.

Drew Barrymore is wrapping up her summer of love with the Apple computer commercials’ “Mac Guy,” Justin Long.

The He’s Just Not that Into You costars seemed really into one another over Labor Day in Vegas, where the two were “all over each other, making out the entire time,” a witness at Jet Nightclub tells

First spotted together at Chateau Marmont on Aug. 28, Barrymore, 32, and Long, 29, brought their holiday weekend to a close back in Los Angeles at a trendy sushi restaurant with friends.

According to a Barrymore pal, “the relationship is very new.”

So new, in fact, the actress dallied with Scrubs star Zach Braff in June and rekindled old flame Spike Jonze in August.

At the end of August, a pal of the actress told, “Drew is crazy about [Jonze]. She’s definitely feeling long-term about it. They’re really great together.”

Reps for both Barrymore and Long had no comment.

Owen Wilson Goes To Rehab

Owen Wilson has reportedly been released from Cedars-Sinai Hospital but has not gone home. He has checked himself into a rehab facility to get the help he needs to get his life back on track. Owen was taken to the hospital after he tried to out himself by slitting his wrists and taking a lot of pills. There were rumors that he has been doing a lot of drugs lately but his lawyer quickly squashed the drug talk. Drugs that’s the only possible that is sustaining his life right now or else he would have been dead long before. If he’s not doing drugs why is he in rehab? Lying sack of crap lawyers….. Comedian Andy Dick was involved in a skirmish with the paparazzi on Wednesday night, as he tried to prevent a photographer from videotaping him. The 41-year-old was leaving Hollywood nightclub Opera when he took exception to the cameraman’s actions. These guys live a hard life and we want them to be smiling all the time and especially when the lights are flashed into their eyes. Come on man leave these guys alone for some time let them enjoy life like we all would like to. The paparazzi is not liked anymore anywhere in the world be it Britain, Us or Japan. Andy would have been out with friends and family at a nightclub and that’s the precious little time they have alone by themselves and their near one and that’s the time when the paparazzi choose to attack. According to sources, people at the hotel the two were staying at complained about yelling, saying they could hear the couple fighting in their hotel room. These are a real rehab material and no better even the rehab staff would desert the rehab that the two would ever check into fearing that the kitchen crockery and other things that they can have in their hands would hit them in their brawls. Actress Julia Stiles lost her temper recently - when she caught a stranger trying to take a photograph of her in a swimming pool changing room. Lindsay Courted for Car Chase

She may not have been driving, but Tracie Rice still didn’t appreciate having Lindsay Lohan all up in her grill. Rice, who says she was a passenger in the car Lohan is accused of chasing moments before being arrested last month on suspicion of driving under the influence and cocaine possession, has sued the starlet for assault, negligence and intentional affliction of emotional distress. Brad Garrett seen striking man’s camera

Brad Garrett is the latest celebrity to tangle with photographers. Garrett, who stars in the Fox sitcom “‘Til Death,” is shown slapping away a camera in a video posted online Monday.

The camera belonged to a photographer working for TMZ.com, which posted the video, TMZ Managing Editor Harvey Levin said Monday.

The 47-year-old actor was leaving a restaurant Sunday night, according to TMZ, when he was surrounded by paparazzi. He’s seen chatting amiably with them as he walks to his car, when one begins shouting insults.

He looks into the video camera of a TMZ photographer, says, “Excuse me,” and slaps the lens.

“What are you hitting me for?” the videographer shouts, adding he wasn’t the one yelling at Garrett. “You hit my face with that,” he says as Garrett gets in his car to leave.

Levin said the man suffered minor injuries, including a swollen eye.

Garrett’s manager, Glenn Robbins, didn’t immediately respond to an e-mail seeking comment.

Levin said TMZ wouldn’t press charges because the camera wasn’t damaged.

Garrett won three Emmy Awards for his role as Ray Romano’s brother, Robert, on CBS’ “Everybody Loves Raymond.”
