Miley Cyrus and Oscar
Miley Cyrus is supposedly getting some Oscar buzz for the song she co-wrote and performed for the Disney movie ‘Bolt’. The LA Times said that the song ‘I Thought I Lost You’ is a presumptive favorite in the category of Best Original Song. Miley performs the song with John Travolta in the movie. If I have to pray in every faith known to the world, I will, if they can all say that her song will not be nominated. If that can be granted, I’ll soon wish for Miley to just fall off the face of the planet. Seeing her face is torture enough, I don’t need her bragging too.

It’s no secret that the key to Britney Spears getting her life back on track was the involvement of her family. And yesterday the “Toxic” mommy was all about spending time with her brother Bryan.
Sporting a cute and casual polka dot dress and a pair of superstar shades, the “Gimme More” songstress looked to be enjoying her brother’s company as they chatted outside his house in Los Angeles, California.
Meanwhile, it seems that the barrage of rumors regarding a possible duet between Brit and her ex-boyfriend Justin Timberlake are completely unfounded.
A rep for the “Cry Me A River” stud told press, “Justin is not scheduled to be in the recording studio with Britney.”

The Jonas Brothers recently had an interview with the Chicago Sun Times where they talked about the making of their new album ‘A Little Bit Longer’. Nick said “We started writing this record about this time last year. It was right after our self-titled album came out, and we were writing all these songs. We knew that we wouldn’t have much time, because we were about to go shoot “Camp Rock,” and right after that, we’d be on tour with Miley [Cyrus]. So basically what we did, we asked our management team, “How can we get into the studio to do this,” and we wound up bringing a tour bus out on the road that was retro-fitted to be a studio.” Talk about a hard-working bunch.
Britney Spears and Whitney Houston to do battle

Britney Spears is set to go head-to-head with Whitney Houston in a Christmas battle.
The ‘Toxic’ singer - who is currently trying to get herself back on track following her public breakdown which saw her admitted to a psychiatric hospital earlier this year - has impressed bosses with her new material and now they want her to take on equally-troubled Whitney in an end of the year album war.
A source said: “Britney has been on fire in the studio of late. During recording sessions for her last album ‘Blackout’ she was consumed by her private life. But she is determined to make a triumphant comeback. Her bosses have been amazed by the quality of tracks they’ve heard. Whitney is set for another relaunch at the same time later in the year. They are determined Britney will come out on top.”
Whitney - who has previously battled drink and drug addiction and recently divorced husband Bobby Brown - is set to work with some of the biggest music stars in the world on her new album. She will collaborate with will.i.am, R. Kelly and John Legend and teams up with Akon on her next single.

The Rolling Stones once sang that you can’t always get what you want. But when you happen to be Ringo Starr of The Beatles fame, that song apparently doesn’t apply.
Paparazzi caught Ringo as he left the Beverly Hills Chinese eatery Mr. Chow this week with his buddy Joe Walsh of the Eagles. Instead of leaving with a doggie bag full of delicious Chinese food, the Beatle took off with his table’s centerpiece. He apparently liked the floral centerpiece so much that he just had to take it home with him.
I guess he used it for his Thanksgiving centerpiece.

All hopes of keeping their lives private are definitely out the window when Carrie Underwood and ‘Gossip Girl’ star Chace Crawford were seen hopping out of the same SUV for a taping of The Early Show on Wednesday morning. Chace hid backstage while Carrie performed some songs from her new album ‘Carnival Ride’
Later that morning, the couple was then spotted at Live with Regis and Kelly where Carrie performed as well. Chace’s ‘Gossip Girl’ co-star Blake Lively, who was also a guest, was reportedly surprised to see Chace at the taping. Blake may be one of few who are still in the dark when it comes to Chace and Carrie.

When Jennifer Lopez sees it fit to rock out, she goes all out… even if it’s just for a two-song set at the star-studded Fashion Rocks concert which aired last Friday.
Newsday had given rave reviews on her performance, reporting that “Jennifer Lopez was stunning with a high-concept performance of her new single ‘Do It Well,’ which played out like a Broadway musical number complete with fake paparazzi and a troupe of dancers. Then, after a bit of a struggle removing her first outfit, she delivered a remixed version of ‘Waiting for Tonight’ that seemed built for the runway with all the wind machines and strutting models.”

Music industry insiders all know that record sales are declining so it’s not news if an artist finds novel ways to make money out of the music. An insider even told the press the trick of the trade in which the artist needs to make the brand part of the song so that it slips down the throats of fans easily.
Fergie is cashing in on that trick and her appeal to the teenage girls of the world. The singer is reportedly set to make $4 million by teaming up with Candies clothing and accessory line on her next album. The brand name will be dropped in her songs and she will work with them on ad campaigns. She’s already started that by featuring several Candies clothing on her video for ‘Big Girls Don’t Cry’.
It’s not really a matter of selling out. It’s a matter of business.

People react differently all over the world to kissing, which is a kind gesture of a love communicated. Mario Magro Kiss For A Cause Foundation Celebrity Auction is heating up as bidders vie for collectibles kissed and signed by the biggest names in country music. Academy of Country Music (ACM) Song of the Year Winner George Strait is leading the pack, with fellow ACM winner Vince Gill not far behind as avid collectors duke it out. Else where Hollywood actor Richard Gere are getting into trouble when they are issued arrest warrants by an Indian court for kissing Indian movie actress and beauty Shilpa Shetty. The issue was such a nonsense thing as the two actors were promoting AIDS awareness in the Indian capital of New Delhi and a small hug and kiss by Richard caught the media attention and put the whole nation into frenzy. Poor chap, must be thinking what on earth these people would like to cry foul on. Kisses sell in Hollywood, they sell for charity and they sell for newspapers as well and in both the cases there is money to be made.
