Former Spice Girl Melanie Brown, more famously known as Scary Spice, is white hot as she hit the beach in her bikini. Can you say MILF? Early next year, the 33-year old will be releasing a new fitness video called ‘Totally Fit’ which will feature a 28-day plan of aerobic and resistance workouts along with her own advice and tips on nutrition, including recipes and snacks. She tells People “For anyone with jubbily bits, I’m going to tighten you up, make you laugh and enjoy your workout no matter what level of fitness you are.” The 3-disc box set will be sold exclusively at TotallyFit.com on December 15 and will hit stores nationwide on February 3, 2009.

Which fashion models, designers, actresses will take part in next Olympic Games in London 2012???

With Olympic air still blowing, the first one to start her preparations for the London Olympics 2012 was Jennifer Lopez.

The 39-year-old hottie jet started her preparations of the big event by taking part in the Nautica Malibu Triathlon, where she crossed the finish line in a quick 2 hours 23 minutes.

Who else can match her time?

Cameron Diaz, Britney Spears, Mariah Carey and others are welcome to prove their mettle on the ground.

As a matter of fact, Jennifer Lopez was not preparing for the Olympics but she was running the triathlon for raising a charity for the Children’s Hospital of L.A.

Jen’s hubby Marc Anthony was also present at the venue to support her.

At the end of the race she said to the crowd, “Thank you guys so much . . . this is an amazing day. I feel really great and so glad I finished and that I made it out of the water.”

Her participation in the triathlon raised US$127,000 out of a total of US$950,000 gathered by entire event.

Britney Spears hangs with bro

It’s no secret that the key to Britney Spears getting her life back on track was the involvement of her family.  And yesterday the “Toxic” mommy was all about spending time with her brother Bryan.

Sporting a cute and casual polka dot dress and a pair of superstar shades, the “Gimme More” songstress looked to be enjoying her brother’s company as they chatted outside his house in Los Angeles, California.

Meanwhile, it seems that the barrage of rumors regarding a possible duet between Brit and her ex-boyfriend Justin Timberlake are completely unfounded.

A rep for the “Cry Me A River” stud told press, “Justin is not scheduled to be in the recording studio with Britney.”

Jonas Brothers Talk A Little Bit Longer

The Jonas Brothers recently had an interview with the Chicago Sun Times where they talked about the making of their new album ‘A Little Bit Longer’. Nick said “We started writing this record about this time last year. It was right after our self-titled album came out, and we were writing all these songs. We knew that we wouldn’t have much time, because we were about to go shoot “Camp Rock,” and right after that, we’d be on tour with Miley [Cyrus]. So basically what we did, we asked our management team, “How can we get into the studio to do this,” and we wound up bringing a tour bus out on the road that was retro-fitted to be a studio.” Talk about a hard-working bunch.

Geri Halliwell a commitment-phobe

Geri Halliwell says she is a commitment-phobe.

The former Spice Girls star – who has a two-year-old daughter Bluebell with British writer Sacha Gervasi – has been romantically linked to celebrities including Jerry O’Connell but admits she avoids long-term relationships.

Geri – who is currently believed to be dating backing dancer Flipz – said: “I think maybe I am a commitment-phobe. I definitely have commitment issues. It is lovely to be with somebody and find a connection and be intimate and open, to have companionship and sharing. That is wonderful but I have learnt there are also minuses to that. As a single person, I have learned to cope by myself and I have my own habits, my daughter and good friendships which I have worked hard on, so allowing someone else into my life is a huge adjustment. I shy away from commitment and I admit that, but I also look around me, at so many unsuccessful relationships and think, ‘No wonder!’”

Geri also says she is ‘fickle’ when it comes to her love life and her feelings change all the time.

She added: “One minute I think somebody is the love of my life and then the next I don’t. I blow hot and cold. I do idealise relationships and I think they should be hot all the time. I am trying to let go of that and realise that no human being, including me, is perfect or can live up to a fantasy.”

Britney’s dad still in the saddle

Britney Spears looks glowing as she spends the day horse-riding on the beaches of Los Cabos, Mexico. Sitting pretty in denim shorts and yellow vest, bronzed Britney bounced back from her recent child custodty battle as she trotted along the sand.

Back home in California, it has emerged her dad Jamie will continue to control the singer’s estate until the end of the year.

He was given legal authority of Britney’s finances and affairs on February 1 after her public meltdown in January. However, a progress review for the case has been set for October 28.

A source said: “The extension of the conservatorship was at the request and suggestion of Britney’s doctors. They’ve indicated she’s made great improvement, but it’s a work in progress. Jamie Spears doesn’t want the conservatorship to last a day longer than the doctors recommend.”

It was recently revealed Britney has spent nearly $2.5 million on attorney fees in the last year alone. The 26-year-old star has paid the staggering amount on battling ex-husband Kevin Federline for custody of the couple’s two children, Sean Preston, two, and Jayden James, one, and paying Jamie for being her conservator.

Since he took charge of the singer’s life, Jamie has reportedly received around $36,000.

David Lee Roth Impersonator

Someone is apparently impersonating David Lee Roth all over Canada. The faux Diamond Dave first surfaced after a man suffering from an allergic reaction to nuts told two Canadian cops and paramedics that he was the famed rocker. Now, the acting Van Halen front man has been spotted at the Liquid Lounge in Hamilton, Ontario, reportedly singing a song and partying it up with who were described as two nurses from the nearby hospital. Canadian cops say that they have identified the impersonator saying that the man has scammed a lot of people and could be charged with obstruction of justice for giving a false name to cops.

Victoria Beckham ’s Dresses

Victoria Beckham is launching a range of dresses. The former Spice Girl - who already has her own line of jeans and sunglasses - admits the garments will be expensive but insists customers will pay for quality.

She said: “It will be something completely different from what I’ve ever done. I’m just putting it together at the moment, but they will be very upscale dresses and likely will start at around $1,200. I’m going to be using very expensive fabrics and finishes, lots of embroideries.”

She intends to unveil the dresses at New York Fashion Week in September. Despite her latest fashion foray, Victoria - who is married to soccer star David Beckham - insists she would never design sports clothes because it’s not her style.

She said: “I won’t do sportswear - I only like to do things that are true to myself and things I would wear myself.”

Victoria’s jeans range were recently being sold for less than half price in some US stores due to a lack of demand.

Taryn Manning has made an acting career out of playing low-rent skanks but it looks like her characters are taking over her life. The Boomcat singer’s musical performance at Lily Pond nightclub this past Saturday made the Hamptons feel more like a middle-of-nowhere trailer park kegger. Forget world peace, the end of terrorism or making poverty history. What the world really needs is to put a stop to actresses thinking they can have a great career in music. What are record companies thinking anyway? It’s not like there’s a serious lack of talent in the current singers out there. I’d pick American Idol rejects over another actress turned wannabe singer.

Lily Allen has fired off a warning shot to impressionable youngsters following her drunken shenanigans at Britain’s Glamour magazine’s Women Of The Year Awards last night – don’t end up like me.

The singer - who showed off her new pink hairdo and wore a dress featuring images of a decapitated Bambi - had to be carried out by bouncers, still clinging on to the Editor’s Special Award she won at the prestigious ceremony.

Hungover Lily is paying the price for her heavy boozing today, admitting she’s feeling “awful” after her “embarrassing” display at the London event.

She credits her brother Alfie - who was also drunk - with getting her safely tucked up in bed, telling fans on her MySpace site that she was too hammered to navigate her own way back home. She wrote: “Oh dear. Last time I wrote here, I was defending my honour and dignity, explaining my innocence and also outrage at the press for insinuating my behavior was embarrassing. This time I’m putting my hands up. I got very drunk last night, too drunk. It’s not cool getting that drunk. I feel awful and I have to thank my little brother Alf for getting me home safely.”

And Lily is hoping her wild behavior will convince children of the evils of alcohol. She added: “Kids, drink responsibly or you’ll end up looking like this - not pretty! Was quite fun though, from what I can remember. Need fry up now.”

No man in Amy Winehouse’s life is clean. It turns out that the supposed clean cut Alex guy who was hired to keep an eye out for Wino is a crack head too. The British media is reporting that Alex was caught smoking crack on tape, much like Wino was a few months ago. When the singer’s management team got wind of it, Alex was fired. An insider revealed “There was no mistaking from looking at the film that he was taking drugs. It was a shock to everyone…The boss went mental and Alex was asked to resign. The last thing Amy needs hanging around her are more users. Alex was supposed to help her and he crossed the line. He had to go.”

David Cook Snags Idol Reject

Now that he’s been crowned the new American Idol, David Cook pretty much has his pick on the gamut of women that are after the self-proclaimed single guy. But once he got the chance, David chose to go for a fellow Idol contestant of seasons past. The American Idol champ asked out former Idol star Kimberly Caldwell on live television on Wednesday night and on Sunday night, he finally cashed in. I guess he likes the blondes. Sorry ladies, it looks like the only fresh Idol meat left is David Archuleta. Be careful though, the little guy is still jailbait after all.

Newly married Pete Wentz showed off his wedding ring on Friday night in New York City. Uhm, that’s it? The band is so boring in its simplicity. Don’t get me wrong, there’s nothing wrong with simple. But that ring is definitely less than what I expected from a guy who wears eyeliner and flat irons his hair. I expected something more flashy – like a ring that’s heavy with diamond and could probably even be worth more than what he paid for Ashlee Simpson’s engagement ring and wedding ring combined. That ring better just be a temp ring because the wedding was planned so quickly.

It looks like the guessing game is well and truly over: Jennifer Aniston and John Mayer are officially an item.

The pair have gone public on their romance after being snapped partaking in a spot of tonsil tennis at the wrap party for Jen’s new movie Marley and Me in Miami at the weekend.

Fully aware there were cameras around, Jen looked totally mesmerized with her toy boy lover as they chilled out on a sofa at Nikki Coconut Grove club, enjoying ’80s music provided by the party’s DJ before calling it a night at 2am.

Rumors of a romance first started last month after the cute pair were spotted on several dinner dates and showed numerous poolside shows of affection while hanging out together in Miami. A source recently said: “She’s really into John, and the nine year age difference doesn’t bother her for a second. Jen’s already telling friends she’s falling in love with this guy.”

I really hope this romance works out for Jen. She’s always been my favorite Friend.

American Idol Stoner - Jason Castro

He’s got the dreadlocks, those heavily lidded eyes and even short-term memory lapse – could Jason Castro have been high the whole time? According to his comments to OK! magazine, he never was. The American Idol castoff said that he’s never been stoned in his life saying “I think that, especially with things like [AI], people like to stereotype so easily. People have always said that. I don’t worry about what people say.” Yeah! Leave the guy alone! No one has made any speculation on anything about anyone else on this season’s Idol roster. What makes him so special? People should just mind their own business sometimes.

Britney Spears and Whitney Houston to do battle

Britney Spears is set to go head-to-head with Whitney Houston in a Christmas battle.

The ‘Toxic’ singer - who is currently trying to get herself back on track following her public breakdown which saw her admitted to a psychiatric hospital earlier this year - has impressed bosses with her new material and now they want her to take on equally-troubled Whitney in an end of the year album war.

A source said: “Britney has been on fire in the studio of late. During recording sessions for her last album ‘Blackout’ she was consumed by her private life. But she is determined to make a triumphant comeback. Her bosses have been amazed by the quality of tracks they’ve heard. Whitney is set for another relaunch at the same time later in the year. They are determined Britney will come out on top.”

Whitney - who has previously battled drink and drug addiction and recently divorced husband Bobby Brown - is set to work with some of the biggest music stars in the world on her new album. She will collaborate with will.i.am, R. Kelly and John Legend and teams up with Akon on her next single.

Here’s some Miley Cyrus news that’s a pretty far cry from her Vanity Fair scandal. It is now official that Destiny Hope Cyrus is a thing of the past. A judge has just approved Tish and Billy Ray Cyrus’s petition for the 15-year old’s name change to Miley Ray Cyrus. Miley would have been the one to petition but she’s still a minor. Only a lawyer was present during the decision though but when he was asked for a reason for the change, he replied with “Destiny Hope Cyrus has been commonly known as Miley Ray Cyrus since she was a young child. The change of name is requested to make her commonly used name the same as her legal name.”

Photographer Defends Miley Cyrus

Famed photographer Annie Leibovitz came to the defense of 15-year old Disney star Miley Cyrus with regards to the Vanity Fair picture scandal. Annie says that the photos have been misinterpreted. She recently released a statement saying “Miley and I looked at fashion photographs together, and we discussed the picture in that context before we shot it… The photograph is a simple, classic portrait, shot with very little makeup, and I think it is very beautiful.” Face it. This controversy isn’t going to die any time soon. Disney just has to keep Miley dressed in a straight jacket with locks on so she can’t take any clothes off.

R Kelly Secrecy

Kelly has been fighting child pornography charges in Chicago this month but the media isn’t learning much on the trial’s progress due to secrecy measures imposed by the judge presiding over the case. The singer pleaded not guilty to a 2002 charge of sexually assaulting an underage female in the Chicago area. The Sun-Times and the Chicago Tribune have intervened in the case this week objecting to the secrecy measures. The papers want the judge to release court filings, stop closing hearings to the public and release transcripts to 3 closed-door hearings held this month. Another hearing is taking place today, Friday. The judge is likely to delay dealing with this matter until May 8, a day before jury selection. A case this big and of big importance, we can’t deal with secrets.

American Idol Reject Denies Bitterness

The word bitter used to describe a person is pretty much clear in definition but that’s not going to stop American Idol reject Carmen Rasmusen from denying that she’s being bitter. Earlier this week, the wannabeen claimed in an article she wrote that the show was rigged and that some contestants are favoured and treated better than others. A few days after it came out, Carmen said that it wasn’t written out of bitterness but rather insightfulness saying “The only point I was trying to make was that some contestants get more attention than others.” Did she miss the part where she rattled on about getting beaten by a guy who spent more time with the same vocal coach she had? That’s what you call being a sore loser.

Pete Doherty Will Be Homeless

Pete Doherty might not have a home to come back to when he gets out of jail in a few weeks. There are reports that claim that the rocker’s landlord has just evicted his junkie self. When the landlord went on a maintenance check of the nine-bedroom mansion being rented by Pete, it was found that the home was in absolute shambles. A source says that the walls, floor and even some windows have been stained with human blood. The house was also said to be littered with feces from the nine cats that Pete left there. That is absolutely gross!

Look at this picture. Did you know that this guy is actually a celebrity spawn? And did you know that this behemoth of a kid is actually just 17 years old?! Believe it or not, this is actually Nicholas Cage’s son, Weston Cage. If you ask me, he looks more like the victim of a ‘Vampire’s Kiss’. Weston recently took the stage to summon dark spirits, and I’m not kidding, at a goth rock concert this past week in Anaheim. If he decided to go into acting, I would have preferred him to have played the role of Johnny Blaze from ‘Ghost Rider’ instead of his dad. It’s more believable that way.

Pink is All Lovey-Dovey

In Touch is reporting that Pink looks like she’s getting serious with Juliette and the Licks guitarist Todd Morse. The pair was spotted this past weekend enjoying a day at the beach in Malibu. Pink’s rep denies the relationship rumors and keeps insisting that the two are just friends despite witnesses coming out to say otherwise. The source says “They most definitely looked like a couple. They were very comfortable together. Before getting in the water, Pink did a few cartwheels on the beach. She looked so happy! They played in the water for 15 minutes and then went for a walk.” The night after their day on the beach, the two were spotted having a romantic dinner at Malibu’s Moonshadows restaurant.

Madonna was spotted as she returns home from her London gym on Monday. Look at those bulging biceps! Considering that it seems that she spends all her down time at the gym, who would be surprised at that? Anyway, the Queen of Pop is rumored to be itching to reignite her movie career by starring in a remake of the Hollywood classic ‘Casablanca’. Thankfully, her reps say that the tidbit is nothing but a rumor. I love Madonna really, but I’d rather she not touch back on the movies – especially if it’s a real big classic that no one wants to ruin.

It seems that Britney Spears may be having a change of careers. The New York Post is reporting that Poppa Spears wants her to do more TV because it’s more of a “normal 9-to-5 job” that will “keep her working and out of trouble”. It seems that the Brit conservator is looking around for more TV work for the recovering starlet and is “exploring several offers for Britney to have her own show”. Let’s hope that none of those offers are for reality TV. Poppa Spears may be in luck though as ’30 Rock’ star Tina Fey has been vocal that she would welcome Britney for a guest spot on her show – she just needs to get in contact with her.

Lily Allen Season 2

Despite people losing interest in her show, Lily Allen’s BBC talk show has been given the go for a second season. The singer’s show opened to mix reviews and poor ratings at just 255,000 viewers for the first episode. Figures then fell to 173,000 at the beginning of last month. But then figures rose to 300,000 viewers for the more recent episode which may be the reason for the season 2 green light. A BBC exec even praised Lily saying that she’s “developed astoundingly well as a TV host in just a few weeks.” After a crappy couple of months, Lily deserves some sunshine after all.

Miley’s Not Looking for a Man…Online

Would you even say she’s looking for a MAN? Maybe new “boy” is a better choice of words. Either way, Miley says she’s not out looking for one, although she doesn’t mind checking out the goods online.

When discussing her internet dating skills, Miley told Ryan Seacrest, “I’m not that desparate yet” but she did say she sometimes perused the Abercrombie & Fitch site “every once in a while for a good look”.

Britney Spears is Definitely Back to Work

By some sort of miracle, our prayers have finally been heard. Britney Spears may not be as entertaining as she was during her crazy days but at least we now know she’s not going to end up like Anna Nicole Smith. The recovering starlet made her big appearance on the comedy ‘How I Met Your Mother’ on Monday and that wasn’t the only thing that happened on Monday. It seems that she may be getting back into her music as well as Britney was spotted at the Alleycat Recording Studio in Hollywood. It looks like she’s finally getting her career back on track. Maybe it’s time to get ready for a proper comeback.
