The Game Plays It Special

After almost a month, rapper The Game finally showed up to Twin Towers to serve his weapons-possession sentence but it seems that he’s playing it special. The rapper, whose real name is Jayceon Taylor, showed up to turn himself in late Sunday night accompanied by his lawyer Shawn Chapman Holley and a battalion of friends and supporters wearing ‘Free The Game’ shirts. He is supposed to serve 60 days in jail but it is being said that he may not serve even half of that sentence. He’s also be a ‘keep away’ while inside – that means that he’ll be segregated from the general population while in the joint.
No Jail Time for Bobby Brown

By some miracle of God, Bobby Brown will not be facing jail time for those cocaine charges on him. The troubled singer has agreed to do one year’s worth of community service in Brockton, Massachusetts in lieu of facing life behind bars. Apparently, the judge thinks that the fallen R&B singer can best make amends mentoring children and young adults in the violence-plagued city. Bobby’s community service should begin within the next couple of months. If he plays his cards right, he may get another deal for a reality TV show chronicling his community service. I hope that doesn’t happen.

Amy Winehouse was spotted as she was fixing herself up on Thursday. She almost flashed some paparazzi as she adjusted her high heels on her way to visit her husband Blake Fielder-Civil in prison in London, England on Thursday. The troubled singer was also seen applying her make up and holding up a vanity mirror during the car ride. Maybe that’s the reason for her excuse of a made up face.
Blake is currently being held at Pentonville Prison after assaulting a man and allegedly bribing him to change his story. Amy was brought in for questioning regarding the alleged bribery. Classy.

The name Foxy Brown and the term good behavior are two things that you would never put together in a sentence, except maybe for this one. But somehow, someone made a different sentence with it.The rapper whose real name is Inga Marchand got herself thrown into solitary confinement for shoving another inmate and refusing to do a drug test. But she has reportedly changed and became compliant and cooperative recently which got her an out of ‘punitive segregation’ early for good behavior. She was one of four female inmates given early release out of over 20 in the unit.
I guess miracles do happen.

The drag singer of the Culture Club Boy George was seen hastily exiting the Thames Magistrates Court in London on Friday. The former singer turned DJ appeared in court on a charge of false imprisonment on a 28-year old male escort by chaining him to a wall.
George, whose real name is George O’Dowd was ordered to stand trial for the incident which was said to have taken place in his flat on April 28. He allegedly handcuffed the escort to a bed and threatened him with sex toys.
The hearing only lasted enough time for George to confirm his name and date of birth and exited too fast for paps to get anything answered.

Bad news came for Amy Winehouse and her husband Blake Fielder Civil on Friday. Blake’s request for bail was denied. The troubled singer’s equally troubled husband has been in jail for the most of November already and he will now be in the slammer until January 18th at the very least. That’s the schedule of the next hearing in his witness tampering case.
That sucks for him and Amy. Can they not get better lawyers? Even Paris Hilton’s lawyer would do. But then again, interfering with justice isn’t really looked at as a good thing. Blake may just as well make himself comfortable.

Joe Francis, the extremely wealthy produce of the adult film series Girls Gone Wild claims his prison guards gone wild on him, abusing him and disallowing him the basic inmate rights.
During a brief stay at a jail in Oklahoma, Francis claims several prison guards at the facility even threatened to tie him naked to a chair for two days if he wouldn’t stop his supposingly bad behavior. This accusation seems pretty much torn out one of his productions and makes me wonder if the celebrity millionaire isn’t just seeking some attention while waiting for his next year trial for tax fraud. Given his film series I can see how prison life is quite boring and so unlike what he is used too, I’m sure he’s bored and a lawsuit more can’t hurt him, especially when he is the one stating the charges.
Amy’s Husband Gets Arrested
Just mere hours after police barged into their London home on Friday, Amy Winehouse’s husband, Blake was arrested by police by attempting to ‘interfere with justice’.
A London newspaper tipped police that Blake Fielder-Civil was trying to pay witnesses to change their stories. In other words, he was plotting to fix his trial regarding the assault of a bartender. He was even planning to be flown out of the country before his hearing in hopes that the case would collapse.
A total of 5 men have been arrested in connection with the alleged conspiracy. If convicted, Blake could face a life sentence in jail.

Pete Doherty Needs Jail Time

While Amy Winehouse bombed on her performance at the 2007 MTV Europe Music Awards last Thursday, Pete Doherty surprisingly did well. I guess he was doing better. But he joked to a TV reporter at the ceremony that he was missing hard drugs. And apparently, the urge was just too much to fight.
On Friday, the rocker was caught going back on the heroin. Pete was either ratted out by a friend or he arranged to have himself videotaped in exchange for some sort of payment. The video was taken on a cell phone.
He’s had way too many chances handed to him. I say, put him in jail for a long while this time around.

Rapper T.I. was supposed to have his day in an ATL court yesterday but a federal magistrate nixed that plan, denied his bond and pushed back the hearing until Friday. Ouch!
The rapper, real name Clifford Harris, is still in custody and prosecutors want him to stay in custody until his trial which could very well be months away. The magistrate will be making a decision on Friday whether there was probable cause for T.I.’s arrest and whether he can post bail to be released before the trial.
If the guns are really all his, let’s hope he gets kept in jail. Why the heck does he need these anyway?

Coleman cited for disorderly conduct
Former child star Gary Coleman was cited for disorderly conduct after witnesses said they saw him in a heated argument with a woman in a parking lot.
Coleman, 39, and the woman were in his vehicle discussing their relationship Friday night when two people saw him hit the steering wheel with his hands, Capt. Cliff Argyle said.
“Mr. Coleman was very excited and loud. … At one point he exited his vehicle, waving his arms, yelling and screaming,” Argyle said. “Vehicles were unable to exit the parking lot because of Mr. Coleman’s actions.”

He cooperated with officers who were called to the scene, Argyle said.
The disorderly conduct citation is a misdemeanor punishable by up to three months in jail and a $750 fine.
“What the city attorney proceeds with, I don’t know,” Argyle said. “It could end up being an infraction” similar to a traffic violation.
A number for Coleman could not be found Tuesday.
Coleman moved to Santaquin, about 55 miles south of Salt Lake City, in 2005, around the time he starred in “Church Ball,” a comedy based on basketball leagues formed by members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Coleman once fought a bitter legal battle with his parents over whether he was fit to handle his own affairs. In 1999, he pleaded no contest to disturbing the peace after he punched an autograph-seeker he claimed insulted him.
He played Arnold on the sitcom “Diff’rent Strokes,” which aired from 1978 to 1986.

After six weeks in the Promises rehab center Lindsay Lohan is sober and free. She checked out today with the agreement to wear an alcohol monitoring bracelet on her ankle. The device is made to test the levels of ethanol that is given off through the skin. If Lindsay drinks alcohol she will give off traces of ethanol which will be monitored and sent to data collection. The press seems to really emphasize that she voluntarily agreed to this. It’s supposedly to allow her to dine and dance without the accusation that she is also drinking again. I can understand why this might be a good idea for her if it’s her good name she is worried about. I can’t help but wonder why Paris never thought of this. Most likely because then she couldn’t drink. Or maybe it just wasn’t the right fashion accessory for her. If Lindsay is legit in her efforts to change then I say all the power to her. After all, she lasted twice as long in a committed program by her own will than Hilton did in jail crying and feeling sorry for herself. It’s sad considering they are both guilty of the same crime. Maybe it’s not too late for Lindsay after all.

Vivica Fox told reporters she regrets her drunken driving arrest because “it’s on your record for 10 years.”
The actress was charged in March with misdemeanor counts for driving under the influence of alcohol. She was accused for driving with a blood-alcohol level above the legal limit.
“It was a huge learning lesson. I won’t ever make that mistake again”, Fox said Friday night backstage at the Kodak Theatre, where she was a presenter for the Daytime Emmy Awards. “Trust me, I’m going to hire a driver next time. It was an unfortunate judgment that I am taking full responsibility in”, she said. “It is so not worth what you go through for getting a DUI.”
Fox was arrested on the Hollywood freeway after passing a car patrol with 80mph and she failed to pass a sobriety test, the California Highway patrol reported.
Breath tests indicated her blood-alcohol level was greater than .08 percent, California’s legal limit for a driver.
Fox said she empathized with Paris Hilton, who is serving jail time for violating probation in an alcohol-related reckless driving case.
“We are not above the law”, Fox said about celebrities. “She’s going to get more coverage when her butt gets out of jail. It’s going to be a special alert and we all are going to watch, right?”
Jail Party for Paris Hilton

Paris Hilton has to report to jail until June 5 to start serving her 23-day sentence. I am not questioning why she is given the freedom to go when she wants to until the deadline because she is a star. What I am questioning is why throw a party before going to jail. It looks like her friends threw her one in order to show their support. Strange thing celebrating before jail!
On the other hand a friend told People magazine that she was really scared about going to jail:
“She breaks down crying a lot because she just can’t deal with the reality and pressure of everything that is happening. She really can’t take how most people around her have scattered and distanced themselves.”
You do not have to wonder why this is happening! Everybody that is associated with Paris Hilton ends up having problems lately.
