Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon Going Strong
All is supposedly going well in the marriage of Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon. The curvaceous diva told MTV that rumors claiming that things are getting rocky between her and her hubby are completely untrue. She says “It’s good. Life is beautiful, and things are going well. I’m like, ‘Why would we have gotten married?’ People are going to say what they say, but what would be the purpose? I guess other people do those things for a purpose, but I don’t know.” Mariah also revealed that she and Nick want to start a family. Mariah claims that Nick will be a great dad saying “I couldn’t imagine anybody that I’ve ever met being a better dad.”
No Remix Wedding for Mariah Carey
Mariah Carey’s rumored New York City Wedding for all the friends and family that weren’t able to attend her Caribbean ceremony is reportedly off. The curvaceous diva and her hubby Nick Cannon were supposedly wanting a second wedding in the city with a dozen bridesmaids at the tune of millions of dollars. A source said “The small wedding in the Bahamas was nice, but it was not Mariah’s style. The lady loves a spectacle.” So why was it called off? Apparently, there was an issue of who’s footing the bill as the source revealed “Mariah was willing to pay for the wedding, but the way she hoped to pay for the wedding was through the sale of photos. No one was interested.” Feel free to laugh, my stomach’s already hurting from doing so.
Mariah and Nick Get Separated
They just got married recently but Nick Cannon and Mariah Carey may already be experiencing trouble in paradise. Well, that’s a surprise. The couple was spotted leaving the Waverly Inn in New York on Friday where they stayed at after they attended Time’s ‘100 Most Influential People’ on Wednesday night. They already made public statements and appeared as a couple in public yet they chose to leave in separate cars that night. It shouldn’t be a surprise though. Mariah has always needed two cars – one for her and one for her diva attitude. It must suck for Nick to have to deal with that.
