Justin Timberlake assumed his role as the new face of Givenchy ‘Play’ at the presentation of the brand’s new fragrance at Mini Palais on the Champs Elysees, Paris on Wednesday. The 27-year old singer and actor wore a classy outfit which included a two-toned blazer but he opted to play it down by wearing a pair of dirty and ratty boots. I’m loving him as a style icon but I’m not loving him as an actor. In his latest comedy ‘The Love Guru’, Justin wasn’t shown any love at the box office by only raking in $12 million in ticket sales last weekend. The movie trailed behind ‘Get Smart’, ‘Kung Fu Panda’ and ‘The Incredible Hulk’.

No Remix Wedding for Mariah Carey

Mariah Carey’s rumored New York City Wedding for all the friends and family that weren’t able to attend her Caribbean ceremony is reportedly off. The curvaceous diva and her hubby Nick Cannon were supposedly wanting a second wedding in the city with a dozen bridesmaids at the tune of millions of dollars. A source said “The small wedding in the Bahamas was nice, but it was not Mariah’s style. The lady loves a spectacle.” So why was it called off? Apparently, there was an issue of who’s footing the bill as the source revealed “Mariah was willing to pay for the wedding, but the way she hoped to pay for the wedding was through the sale of photos. No one was interested.” Feel free to laugh, my stomach’s already hurting from doing so.

Will you Jessica Biel my bride?

He has dated some of the most beautiful women in the world but gorgeous actress Jessica Biel has finally tamed Justin Timberlake. I hear he will soon be proposing and has already started looking at potential wedding venues — or in his case, islands.

The two have been dating since January last year and rumours are rife they may already be planning a family. One source said Jessica has not been drinking recently, sparking pregnancy rumours. They added: “Justin is 27 and thinking about marriage and kids. For the first time in his life he is feeling settled and has definitely decided to pop the question to Jessica. He is so happy with her. They spent quite a bit of time apart recently when Justin was working with Madonna. That made him certain Jessica was the person he wanted to spend the rest of his life with.”

For any girls out there not yet feeling a twinge of jealously towards Jessica — who most recently caught the eye in the film I Now Pronounce You Chuck & Larry — wait until you see where Justin wants them to get wed.

His No1 choice is the beautiful West Indian island of Mustique. Words can’t do the place justice, although the official website comes close, describing it as: “An exclusive, 1,400-acre island in the southern Caribbean with lush, rolling terrain cooled by trade winds, surrounded by pristine white beaches and clear, aquamarine waters.”

Though it is not just the island’s natural beauty that attracts Justin. Because it is privately owned by those who live there, he would be able to ban all paparazzi from even landing there.

His friend added: “Although Justin has lived his whole life in the public eye, he feels his wedding is the one day that should remain private. To get all his close friends and family to Mustique will cost a fortune. But he can’t put a price on how he feels about Jessica. Then there are the rumours about a baby being on the way.”

The couple – who are reportedly getting married on Saturday – also revealed that they were ‘friends with benefits’ for a long time before getting together in 2006. Uh huh.

Pete said: “The first time we really hung out she flashed me.” Ashlee: ‘I lifted my dress over my head but it was love at first sight.’ Of course it was honey.

The Fall Out Boy rocker also revealed Ashlee couldn’t remember him after they first met so he had to email a photograph to her. He added: “I was in the ‘friend zone’ with her for a good solid year. I’d be calling her and following her around like a puppy dog.”

The couple announced their engagement in April and are reportedly marrying this weekend at a ‘top secret’ location.

Disappearing Wino

Amy Winehouse is pretty well known for having a serious drug addiction but by the look of things, she may start being known for battling an eating disorder as well. Wino, and a musician pal, was spotted soaking up the sun outside a recording studio in Henley, UK on Sunday looking like that. No 24-year old should have a body that looks like that. I mean this as no disrespect, but she looks like one of those starved kids in Africa. Isn’t a bloated belly a sign of severe malnutrition and abuse? When is she going to get her act together?

Jonas Brothers in 3D

The Jonas Brothers are about to get the Miley Cyrus treatment – minus the Vanity Fair scandal of course! The band of brothers is set to make their own 3D movie next year. The film will consist of footage from their upcoming ‘Burning Up’ concert tour which is set to kick off on July in Toronto. Walt Disney Studios President Oren Aviv said “More than just a concert, this film will take moviegoers inside the band’s creative process, and present them in a very intimate and entertaining way.” The brothers also released a statement saying “We can’t wait to start working on this film for our fans. It’s going to be awesome and we really want to bring a totally unique and different movie experience to everyone whether they’ve seen us live or not.”

Mariah Carey really is married

Mariah Carey has confirmed she is married. The ‘Touch My Body’ singer admits she has never been happier since tying the knot with rapper Nick Cannon on April 30.

Mariah, who met Nick while shooting the video for her new single ‘Bye Bye’ six weeks ago - said: “We really do feel we are soulmates. I never felt a love like this was in the cards for me!”

The US magazine, People, has exclusive photos of Mariah, 38, and Nick, 27, marrying at sunset on her Bahamas estate. The pop superstar wore a traditional white gown and veil, while Nick complemented her outfit in a smart white suit and tie.

He praised his new wife, saying: “She is beautiful on the outside and 10 times as beautiful on the inside.”

It has also been revealed the couple have had matching tattoos to celebrate their love for each other.

Mariah and Nick aren’t the only celebrity couple to get married in secret. Last month, Beyonce Knowles and Jay-Z tied the knot at his New York apartment in front of friends and family.

Pete Doherty to be Freed

This piece of news, I don’t get. The UK media is saying that Pete Doherty is set to be freed on Tuesday. If that really is the case, he will have served 29 days of the 98 he was sentenced. Considering that there’s been news of him getting high in jail and the things he can do outside scares the heck out of me because it confirms how screwed up the British justice system is. A friend of the rock star even said of Pete that “He’s planning to go straight to play a gig — and then get smashed. He wants no business appointments for three days — so he can really go for it.” It’s obvious that jail time did nothing on his conscience.

Drunken Christina Aguilera

New mom Christina Aguilera was spotted as she got a helping hand from her music executive husband Jordan Bratman after leaving a launch party of the Crown Bar in Hollywood on Wednesday. Did she have one too many drinks? The 27-year old walked out noticeably dizzy as her hubby helped carry her out of the bar. But don’t think Christina will feel bad about any bad press. She recently said that “In terms of reading bad opinions, I tend to see all negativity and criticism as a good thing. Because people are at least talking about me, so they must care in some way.” There’s no such thing as bad publicity for her.

Mariah Carey at Tribeca

Mariah Carey showed off her curvy figure on the red carpet of the premiere of her movie ‘Tennessee’ during the 2008 Tribeca Film Festival which was held on Saturday in New York City. Who’s willing to bet that it’s a flop of a movie? In better news, the 38-year old curvaceous diva has sold 463,000 copies of her new album ‘E=MC2’ during its first week out. It so far has the best first-week sales in 2008. Her single ‘Touch My Body’ is currently at the #6 spot on the charts with a total of 627,000 sold. At least she’s doing something right.

Madonna’s royal connection

No wonder Madonna was so keen to become a Brit. The US pop superstar may be related to Prince Charles, according to information released this week.

Family tree site ancestry.co.uk has revealed a link between Madonna, Charles, Celine Dion and the Duchess of Cornwall. All people have a link to a French carpenter called Zacharie Cloutier who lived in the 17th century.

Zacharie settled in New France, Quebec in 1634, the records show, hence starting the Canadian lineage to Celine Dion. The family went became one of the most influential families in Canada.

The link now between Charles, Camilla, Madonna and Celine Dion is extremely distant. Zacharie Cloutier is estimated to have more than 11,000 people today linking back to him.

In a statement, the website’s spokesman Simon Harper says, “The fact that Camilla and Madonna are related, however distantly, highlights the truly unpredictable and entertaining nature of family history research.”

Wino is a Muscle Woman

Amy Winehouse was spotted as she took a break from a recording studio in North England on Thursday. Look at the muscle on her! The 24-year old singer has been busy working on a song for the soundtrack of the new James Bond movie ‘The Quantum of Solace’. I almost thought that she’s not going to be able to do it because back in February, a source close to the project commented that “If Amy is clean then, [the Bond song is] hers.” So I guess that Wino’s clean as she’s still on the project. Either that or she’s a really good actress.

Britney Spears Works for PETA

Britney Spears was escorted by police to get through a horde of photographers waiting for her when she was spotted leaving Tracey Ross boutique at Sunset Plaza in Los Angeles on Tuesday. Here’s something that my head needs to get through: PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) president Ingrid Newkirk has recently contacted Britney to offer her a receptionist position and the chance to win $1000 for her favorite charity. What? Did a light bulb turn on in her head when she saw Britney play a secretary on ‘How I Met Your Mother’? It was scripted. She can’t really answer a professional call.

Madonna was spotted as she returns home from her London gym on Monday. Look at those bulging biceps! Considering that it seems that she spends all her down time at the gym, who would be surprised at that? Anyway, the Queen of Pop is rumored to be itching to reignite her movie career by starring in a remake of the Hollywood classic ‘Casablanca’. Thankfully, her reps say that the tidbit is nothing but a rumor. I love Madonna really, but I’d rather she not touch back on the movies – especially if it’s a real big classic that no one wants to ruin.

Jonas Brothers are Biker Boys

Two out of three members of the pop rock group Jonas Brothers, namely Joe and Nick, took their younger brother Frankie for a bike ride around the neighborhood in Santa Monica, California on Sunday afternoon. I wonder where Kevin was at the time and why he wasn’t biking around like his brothers. Oh well, maybe he’s resting considering they have a busy schedule ahead of them. The Jonas Brothers will soon begin their ‘Burning Up’ concert tour, promoting their new movie ‘Camp Rock’ and releasing their third studio effort on August 12th. Whew! Those boys sure are getting busy. It’s a good thing they still have time to play with Frankie.

Corinne Bailey Rae in Mourning

Corinne Bailey Rae was spotted out in the public last week for the first time since her husband Jason Rae was found dead in a Leeds apartment last Saturday. The singer married the jazz musician in 2001. Corinne laid flowers at the foot of huge memorial cross near her home in Otley, West Yorkshire. Also last week, at the inquest into Jason’s sudden death, a pathologist has testified that it appears that the saxophonist died from a drug overdose. That’s something I would have never thought of. Corinne looks so clean cut. I would never think that she’s associated to drugs or anyone who uses for that matter.

Britney Spears is Definitely Back to Work

By some sort of miracle, our prayers have finally been heard. Britney Spears may not be as entertaining as she was during her crazy days but at least we now know she’s not going to end up like Anna Nicole Smith. The recovering starlet made her big appearance on the comedy ‘How I Met Your Mother’ on Monday and that wasn’t the only thing that happened on Monday. It seems that she may be getting back into her music as well as Britney was spotted at the Alleycat Recording Studio in Hollywood. It looks like she’s finally getting her career back on track. Maybe it’s time to get ready for a proper comeback.

Pregnant Kerry in hospital dash

Kerry Katona has been rushed to hospital over fears she has a potentially deadly illness. The ex-Atomic Kitten singer is being tested for suspected pre-eclampsia; which can be fatal for a mum-to-be and baby.

Heavily pregnant Kerry, 27, was dashed from her home on Monday morning on the orders of her midwife. She had been complaining of swelling in her legs and ankles for weeks but was gradually getting worse.

The mum of three was last night being treated at a maternity unit in Macclesfield, near her home at Wilmslow, Cheshire. Her second husband Mark Croft, 37, was keeping a bedside vigil.

Kerry’s spokesman Max Clifford said: “It is a very worrying time but she is in the safest place for her and her baby. If it turns out to be pre-eclampsia then it can be a very serious condition, she’ll need urgent medical attention.”

American Idol Stage Dad

American Idol sources have said that David Archuleta’s father, Jeff, is a stage dad. They say that Jeff actually made David cry when his recording didn’t go so well. If you think it’s mere rumor, here’s something else to swallow. Sources from ‘Star Search’, another show that David was on, Jeff’s behaviour was so bad that he was actually barred from the lot. They also say that her harassed Tiffany Evans, David’s rival on the show, by lurking outside her practices and even coercing her to drink milk before a show to ruin her voice. As far as Idol goes, Jeff’s wrath is still in bloom. Poor David.

Amy Winehouse has a lot going on in her life right now and most of them are really not good. She has that no-good husband of hers still in jail, the whole sobriety issue she still continues to need improvement on but she’s also got a lot of nasty things on her face. The British pop wreck is still battling with her latest demon, a bad case of impetigo. Impetigo is a contagious skin infection that has exploded all over her face. And they’re letting her out of the house? How did she develop this thing anyway? I bet it has something to do with her drug use.

Here’s a look at Britney Spears during her appearance on the CBS sitcom ‘How I Met Your Mother’. The episode in which the recovering starlet makes a guest appearance is set to air on March 24. In the episode, Brit plays Abby, a secretary at a dermatologist’s office. Soon after meeting Josh Radnor’s character Ted, Abby becomes smitten even having the line “Can we have sex and then go shopping?” While shooting the episode, the show’s star Neil Patrick Harris was asked how Britney was in the role, to which he replied with “She’s been doing well. Surprisingly, no British accent.”

P. Diddy to launch celebrity chauffeur service

P. Diddy is planning to launch a chauffeur service for drunken celebrities.

The music mogul wants to stop stars from drink driving after attending celebrity bashes.

A representative for the rapper said: “After partnering with Ciroc vodka, he wants to make sure everyone’s partying responsibly.” When asked what he hoped to achieve by introducing the service, P. Diddy said: “Making sure nobody gets arrested!”

In recent times a slew of stars have been convicted of driving under the influence (DUI), including Lindsay Lohan, Paris Hilton, Kiefer Sutherland, Nicole Richie and Michelle Rodriguez.

P. Diddy recently revealed he wanted to take a break from the music industry to focus on making it as an actor. He said: “I really want to do leading man kind of stuff - you know. Like jumping off of buildings and the like.”

Homeless American Idol Gets to Work

American Idol’s Hollywood Week castoff Josiah Leming was living out of his car when he auditioned for the show. But earlier this week, the teenager with a British accent when he sings was spotted on his way to a business meeting at Mr. Chow in Beverly Hills. The kid also plans on getting into the recording studio within the next few months. That’s more than what many former Top 12 Idols can even claim. Although there’s no word on where or in what he’s currently living in, he’s definitely making his way up. Good for him! The kid deserves some good fortune.

Pink Moves On

Pop/rocker Pink was spotted at the Steel Panther show last week at the Key Club and a lot of action went down around her. Before going up on stage to sing with the band, the singer was getting hot and heavy with her grinding with some guy in the crowd. When she got on stage, that’s when the real action went down. The girl totally rocked it when she belted out her rendition of the Guns ‘n’ Roses hit ‘Sweet Child o’ Mine’. It looks like her split from freestyle biker Carey Hart isn’t affecting her social life as Pink even made out with Steel Panther’s singer. Carey who?

Britney Spears’s TV Return

Maybe producers think casting Britney Spears will up their ratings….I mean, who can pass up the chance to watch a train wreck? It has been announced that she is going to guest star on How I Met Your Mother.

Britney’s character is a dermatologist’s assistant. The dermatologist’s part was going to be played by Alicia Silverstone, but Alicia decided that having Britney around would overshadow her, so she dropped out. Instead, the producers found a last minute replacement in Sarah Chalke, star of Scrubs. She’s used to being a fill in…she took over the role of Becky Connor on Roseanne for the last three seasons after Lecy Goranson, the original Becky, left for college.

The episode of How I Met Your Mother is set to air at the end of April.

Poor old Robbie Williams is a Rocked DJ after being dumped by the beautiful Natassia Scarlet Malthe.

The Tripping singer has been secretly dating naughty Norwegian Nat—the sexy actress lined up for the new James Bond film Quantum Of Solace—since last year.

But she’s recently given him the elbow to concentrate on her new TV series Scarlet (taken from her middle name), which is being directed by Emmy Award winner David Nutter.

A friend of the actress/model said: “Robbie and Natassia had a frenzied romance and really loved each other. But the relationship was almost too intense. Robbie’s hardly doing any work at the moment while Natassia is a star on the rise. She didn’t have time for him.”

Poor Lily Allen

She has a shocked look on her face as she leaves the Groucho Club. And rightly so. Lily Allen walked out of the London club to find that someone had broken into her new BMW. The windows were smashed in as well.

Making the situation even more pitiful is the fact that she bought the car for herself a few weeks ago as an attempt to cheer herself up. She recently experienced a miscarriage and then split from boyfriend Ed Simons of the Chemical Brothers.

The Game Plays It Special

After almost a month, rapper The Game finally showed up to Twin Towers to serve his weapons-possession sentence but it seems that he’s playing it special. The rapper, whose real name is Jayceon Taylor, showed up to turn himself in late Sunday night accompanied by his lawyer Shawn Chapman Holley and a battalion of friends and supporters wearing ‘Free The Game’ shirts. He is supposed to serve 60 days in jail but it is being said that he may not serve even half of that sentence. He’s also be a ‘keep away’ while inside – that means that he’ll be segregated from the general population while in the joint.

Beyonce is Bluntly Blonde

Is that a young Tina Turner?! Or is that Britney Spears with a new wig and a very dark tan?! Actually, that’s an almost unrecognizable Beyonce when she debuted her frosted tip edition wig in New York over the weekend. I don’t know what possessed her to do so but that thing is hideous on her – even more hideous than Britney’s pink wig. Maybe Jay-Z likes to role play. Whatever the explanation may be, I still say that the wig should have acid poured on it, burned and buried six feet under the ground. It’s not a good look girl, get rid of it!

New Beau for Paris

She tried to act like she wasn’t with Nicole’s baby daddy’s twin brother, but she finally gave in. Paris Hilton and Benji Madden were finally photographed together, holding hands and flirting while they shopped at Barneys New York in Beverly Hills.

Benji is the guitarist for Good Charlotte and the twin brother of Joel Madden. Joel Madden just so happens to be the father of Nicole Richie’s baby - Nicole is Paris’ BFF.

This’ll make for some interesting family get-togethers. Rumor has it, he’s already given her a Tiffany ring. We’ll see!
