The story of the movie is that a cop’s partner died during Hurricane Katrina but he later discovers that his partner may have been murdered. An investigation follows which takes the officer and his new partner into the depths of the criminal underworld.
It’s a good thing that he covered up all his bulging muscles. We don’t like ‘em big and bulky. We prefer lean and sexy!

Justin Timberlake assumed his role as the new face of Givenchy ‘Play’ at the presentation of the brand’s new fragrance at Mini Palais on the Champs Elysees, Paris on Wednesday. Jonas Brothers in 3D

The Jonas Brothers are about to get the Miley Cyrus treatment – minus the Vanity Fair scandal of course! The band of brothers is set to make their own 3D movie next year. The film will consist of footage from their upcoming ‘Burning Up’ concert tour which is set to kick off on July in Toronto. Walt Disney Studios President Oren Aviv said “More than just a concert, this film will take moviegoers inside the band’s creative process, and present them in a very intimate and entertaining way.” The brothers also released a statement saying “We can’t wait to start working on this film for our fans. It’s going to be awesome and we really want to bring a totally unique and different movie experience to everyone whether they’ve seen us live or not.”

Mariah Carey at Tribeca

Mariah Carey showed off her curvy figure on the red carpet of the premiere of her movie ‘Tennessee’ during the 2008 Tribeca Film Festival which was held on Saturday in New York City. Amy Winehouse was spotted as she took a break from a recording studio in North England on Thursday. Look at the muscle on her! The 24-year old singer has been busy working on a song for the soundtrack of the new James Bond movie ‘The Quantum of Solace’. I almost thought that she’s not going to be able to do it because back in February, a source close to the project commented that “If Amy is clean then, [the Bond song is] hers.” So I guess that Wino’s clean as she’s still on the project. Let’s face it; Jessica Simpson isn’t going to be nominated for an Oscar anytime soon. Simpson’s movie ‘Blonde Ambition’ was so bad that it was going to go straight to DVD–well it gets worse! The movie has been deemed too bad even for a DVD release so it’s going on sale on home shopping network QVC! That’s a low blow. Low Blow for the producers of that movie, they wouldn’t have been able to earn enough from the movie to pay for the kids pre-school fees. It the movie - is just a bomb, mainly because of Jessica’s acting. She’s a box-office disaster, why do they still hire her??? And just look at her in the photo here, she is still laughing at the producers for casting her in their movie and this lipstick is way too much. It looks like a hooker would wear a color like that. Why is she ever hired for movies? But if she can get past the Jesus thing, she might be a smart casting choice for blowjob movies. A Second Coming? Anything goes!

Halle Berry is expecting her first child.

“Yes, I am three months pregnant,” the Oscar winner told Access Hollywood on Tuesday. “Gabriel and I are beyond excited and I’ve waited a long time for this moment in my life.”

Berry, 41, and her boyfriend, 32-year-old model Gabriel Aubry, met shooting a Versace ad in Los Angeles in November 2005 and first stepped out publicly three months later at the February opening of a Versace boutique in New York City.

Earlier this year, Berry told, “I definitely want children. Very much.” In terms of what kind of parent she’ll be, she said. “I want my kids to realize it’s only through hard work that any success or real joy comes. It’s not about money; it’s the intangible rewards – having integrity and doing what you say you’re going to do.”

Asked about marriage, Berry, who has been married twice, told the magazine that she had no plans to tie the knot again. “I will never, never get married again,” she said. “Actually, it’s just that now I’ve come to a place where I think two people can share their lives without the ring, without the piece of paper.”

In February, a friend of Aubry’s told about the couple: “They are so smitten.”

Brad Pitt: ‘We’re Ready’ for Fifth Child

Brad Pitt says that with four children, “sleep is non-existent” and some days fatherhood is a rollercoaster ride.

“It’s the most fun I have ever had and also the biggest pain in the ass I have ever experienced,” he told reporters at the Venice Film Festival on Sunday. “(But) I love it and I can’t recommend it any more highly.”

When asked by Italian state TV if he and partner Angelina Jolie were ready for a fifth child, Pitt replied: “Yeah, we’re ready.”

The couple arrived in Venice on Saturday with all four children in tow and headed for the exclusive Hotel Cipriani, on Giudecca island, a short boat ride from Venice.

While Pitt promoted his latest film, The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford, which is in competition for the festival’s Golden Lion top award, Jolie enjoyed ice cream and a stroll with their 2-year-old daughter Zahara and son, Maddox, 6.

Pitt, 43, who co-produced and stars as Jesse James in the film, said that having a family has also helped his career.

“It makes me much more efficient,” he says, “because that’s the main focus. It makes me feel when I do have time to work, I really do have to focus because there is a really short window to get something done. I am quite pleased by it all.”

On Sunday evening Jolie joined Pitt on the red carpet for the premiere of the film along with co-stars Casey Affleck and Sam Shepard.

Pitt wore a white tuxedo and Jolie wore a black lace gown and more than $2 million worth of Bvlgari jewelry. They signed autographs before heading into the screening, arm in arm.

Owen Wilson Goes To Rehab

Owen Wilson has reportedly been released from Cedars-Sinai Hospital but has not gone home. He has checked himself into a rehab facility to get the help he needs to get his life back on track. Owen was taken to the hospital after he tried to out himself by slitting his wrists and taking a lot of pills. There were rumors that he has been doing a lot of drugs lately but his lawyer quickly squashed the drug talk. Drugs that’s the only possible that is sustaining his life right now or else he would have been dead long before. If he’s not doing drugs why is he in rehab? Lying sack of crap lawyers….. This Owen Wilson story is fast becoming the talking point in Hollywood and the derogatory remakes that are being said by all those who even do not know the reason why is was taken to a hospital shows that people just want to shout bad things just because he is an actor. Andy Dick Tries To Grab Paparazzi’s Video Camera

Comedian Andy Dick was involved in a skirmish with the paparazzi on Wednesday night, as he tried to prevent a photographer from videotaping him. The 41-year-old was leaving Hollywood nightclub Opera when he took exception to the cameraman’s actions. These guys live a hard life and we want them to be smiling all the time and especially when the lights are flashed into their eyes. Come on man leave these guys alone for some time let them enjoy life like we all would like to. The paparazzi is not liked anymore anywhere in the world be it Britain, Us or Japan. Andy would have been out with friends and family at a nightclub and that’s the precious little time they have alone by themselves and their near one and that’s the time when the paparazzi choose to attack. Ok it’s their job and no doubt that they do their job well but hey man it’s there a break time like a lunch time.

Owen Wilson Hospitalized?

Owen Wilson’s parents and brothers were seen at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center on Sunday night amid reports Wilson was hospitalized.

Santa Monica police issued a statement saying officers responded to a “medical assistance call” at a house on Wilson’s street shortly after noon Sunday. A source confirmed the house was Wilson’s.

“The person was transported to a local hospital where they are being treated,” the police statement said.

According to media reports, it was Wilson who was transported.

Later in the evening, Wilson’s brothers Andrew and Luke, as well as his parents, were seen at Cedars-Sinai in Los Angeles.

Wilson’s rep didn’t immediately respond to requests for comment.

Wilson, who stars in the upcoming Wes Anderson movie The Darjeeling Limited, is currently filming the comedy Tropic Thunder, directed by Wilson’s friend Ben Stiller.

Brad Garrett seen striking man’s camera

Brad Garrett is the latest celebrity to tangle with photographers. Garrett, who stars in the Fox sitcom “‘Til Death,” is shown slapping away a camera in a video posted online Monday.

The camera belonged to a photographer working for TMZ.com, which posted the video, TMZ Managing Editor Harvey Levin said Monday.

The 47-year-old actor was leaving a restaurant Sunday night, according to TMZ, when he was surrounded by paparazzi. He’s seen chatting amiably with them as he walks to his car, when one begins shouting insults.

He looks into the video camera of a TMZ photographer, says, “Excuse me,” and slaps the lens.

“What are you hitting me for?” the videographer shouts, adding he wasn’t the one yelling at Garrett. “You hit my face with that,” he says as Garrett gets in his car to leave.

Levin said the man suffered minor injuries, including a swollen eye.

Garrett’s manager, Glenn Robbins, didn’t immediately respond to an e-mail seeking comment.

Levin said TMZ wouldn’t press charges because the camera wasn’t damaged.

Garrett won three Emmy Awards for his role as Ray Romano’s brother, Robert, on CBS’ “Everybody Loves Raymond.”

New mom Naomi Watts received police protection as she went shopping on Monday as pursuing paparazzi sparked a safety scare. Watts, who gave birth to Liev Schreiber’s son last month attracted more than 30 photographers as she shopped for groceries in the Los Angeles suburb of Brentwood. We at times love the paparazzi because they are the ones who give us exclusive access to the best Hollywood celebrity happenings, but there is a clear difference that should be made between the stars and the kids. While clicking Celebs at their most funniest and superlative moments is a good job done, privacy should be upheld and if the star was out shopping with the newly born child they should have respected her privacy. But then we all know there no norms that are followed in Hollywood and breaking the rules is more than just a matter of fun to the paparazzi.

Clive Owen: I’d Never Have an Affair with a Costar

Clive Owen can boast plenty of beautiful costars – from Angelina Jolie in Beyond Borders, Julia Roberts in Closer and Jennifer Aniston in Derailed to Monica Bellucci in the upcoming Shoot ‘Em Up – but the married star says he’d never have an affair with a costar.

“I so value what I’ve got at home with my wife and kids that I’ve never f—-ed with that,” Owen, 42, tells Playboy in its September issue. “For me, that’s what it’s about.”

Owen – who has two daughters, Hannah and Eve, with wife Sarah-Jane Fenton – adds: “I’ve had some great times with actresses, but that’s in a movie. It’s a fun thing to do, but it’s not love. So I never have a problem with that.”

When it comes to making love onscreen, “Even sex scenes are very straightforward,” he says. “You’ve got things to accomplish, work to do. I find the thing to do in those situations is to just keep the atmosphere as light as possible.”

Not that his don’t-bed-the-costar rule was always in effect: the Briton says that the first girl to win his heart was “a very lovely, beautiful girl, a local girl” with whom he acted at age 17.

He also met his wife while working with her onstage. “[She] was playing Juliet to my Romeo,” in a touring production of Shakespearean plays.

Despite being called sexy by several past costars, including Jolie and Eva Mendes, the star says he has no problem with monogamy.

“My relationship is everything to me,” he says. “I’m often doing incredibly exciting plays and films, but that would mean nothing if I were floating around and didn’t have a solid family behind me. Sarah-Jane is an absolute diamond.”

Charlie Sheen Wants to Block Calls from Denise

Actor Charlie Sheen is going back to court to take on his ex actress Denise Richards once again. Now he wants to prevent her from being able to call him any time that she likes. He also wants to pick apart custody terms for the children he shares with Denise. Sheen has explained after an appearance on Entertainment Tonight that he doesn’t want her calling constantly when he has the kids. It looks like this couple is still struggling to put their petty immaturity aside and focus on the kids for once. Its couples like this that tend to use the kids as a means of power and leverage over the other. It’s never really about the well being of the kids. Sheen is already engaged to his new girlfriend Brooke Mueller although I don’t see that lasting any longer than any of his previous relationships.
