Britney Spears took her family to visit Kliebert’s Alligator and Turtle Farm in Hammond, Louisiana last Tuesday. The 26-year old pop princess was accompanied by her mom Lynne, her little sister Jamie Lynn, her 5-month old niece Maddie Briann and her two sons, 3-year old Sean Preston and 2-year old Jayden James. It’s good to see Jayden got out of the hospital real quick. I guess he’s ok now. And he looks so cute being all curious! The entire Spears clan received a special tour of the alligator farm which raises, preserves and contributes to the ultimate survival of the American Alligator.

Jamie Lynn Spears Pregnant AGAIN?

The only thing worse than a teenager getting pregnant is that she gets pregnant again!

While sister Britney is in town, Jamie Lynn Spears gets assigned to do all the grocery shopping. And is it me, or is she looking increasingly pregnant?

To be honest, I didn’t completely believe the rumors, but mostly because I believed, no one was that stupid to get knocked up right after becoming a highly-publicized teenage mom. I totally forgot that I was talking about JAMIE LYNN SPEARS here.

Britney Spears is a Witch

Britney Spears dressed up as a witch and took her two sons, 3-year old Sean Preston and 2-year old Jayden James for a round of trick or treating on Halloween. Recently posted on her official website were pictures of the 26-year old pop princess, her boys and gal pals Courtney and Laura Lynn, her assistant Brett and dad Jamie. It looked like they all had some fun dressing up together. Britney also revealed that she attended Drew Barrymore’s Halloween party. It looks like she’s back to having a good time. Let’s just hope she doesn’t have too much of a good time and lose it again.

Britney Spears Dances

Britney Spears has really been working hard lately by putting hours upon hours into dance rehearsals for new routines. Her official website BritneySpears.com posted pictures of the 26-year old pop princess dancing with her choreographer Andre Fuentes and her back up dancers.  Choreographer Wade Robson has also confirmed that he’s reuniting with Britney. He said “She reached out to me and said she wanted to get the old team back together. So we’ll go into rehearsals in January for a March start.” Also confirmed, Britney recently shot the cover for an upcoming issue of Rolling Stone.

Britney Spears Go-Karts

Britney Spears recently went behind the wheel but don’t fret, she’s not going to get in trouble for this one. The recovering starlet raced a few times around the go-kart track at Dromo 1: The Real Racing Experience in Anaheim, California recently. The place is located right by Disneyland and is an indoor kart center with a challenging 1000 foot-long track. Of course, Britney’s camera crew was right there to record every moment of her time for her upcoming behind the scenes DVD which is set to be released concurrently with her new album ‘Circus’. I wonder if we will see any behind the scenes for the making of her album.

Britney Spears hangs with bro

It’s no secret that the key to Britney Spears getting her life back on track was the involvement of her family.  And yesterday the “Toxic” mommy was all about spending time with her brother Bryan.

Sporting a cute and casual polka dot dress and a pair of superstar shades, the “Gimme More” songstress looked to be enjoying her brother’s company as they chatted outside his house in Los Angeles, California.

Meanwhile, it seems that the barrage of rumors regarding a possible duet between Brit and her ex-boyfriend Justin Timberlake are completely unfounded.

A rep for the “Cry Me A River” stud told press, “Justin is not scheduled to be in the recording studio with Britney.”

Britney Spears wants kids to have normal childhood

Britney Spears is desperate for her sons Sean Preston and Jayden James to have a “normal childhood”.

The 26-year-old singer - who is slowly getting her life back on track following a public breakdown earlier this year - says she would rather her children didn’t go into the entertainment industry, after seeing how becoming a star at a young age can affect later life.

Britney, who shot to fame in Disney’s ‘The New Mickey Mouse Club’ aged 11, said: “I would love them unconditionally if they wanted to, but I would just as soon they have a more normal childhood.”

In her first official interview in over a year, Britney also revealed she found it “mind boggling” when she found out her younger sister Jamie Lynn, 17, was pregnant with her first child, Maddie Briann.

She said: “I was shocked a little bit. She’s always been the baby, and now the baby was having a baby. It was mind-boggling. But I’m sure my boys will be like big brothers to Maddie.”

Britney’s father Jamie, who is co-conservator of the singer’s estate and has legal authority of the ‘Toxic’ star’s finances and affairs, also spoke for the first time about Britney’s troubles.

He said: “God has a way of taking something bad and turning it into something. If this hadn’t happened, I would never have been able to get back with my daughter and have this relationship I have with these two little boys.”

Britney Spears looks glowing as she spends the day horse-riding on the beaches of Los Cabos, Mexico. Sitting pretty in denim shorts and yellow vest, bronzed Britney bounced back from her recent child custodty battle as she trotted along the sand.

Back home in California, it has emerged her dad Jamie will continue to control the singer’s estate until the end of the year.

He was given legal authority of Britney’s finances and affairs on February 1 after her public meltdown in January. However, a progress review for the case has been set for October 28.

A source said: “The extension of the conservatorship was at the request and suggestion of Britney’s doctors. They’ve indicated she’s made great improvement, but it’s a work in progress. Jamie Spears doesn’t want the conservatorship to last a day longer than the doctors recommend.”

It was recently revealed Britney has spent nearly $2.5 million on attorney fees in the last year alone. The 26-year-old star has paid the staggering amount on battling ex-husband Kevin Federline for custody of the couple’s two children, Sean Preston, two, and Jayden James, one, and paying Jamie for being her conservator.

Since he took charge of the singer’s life, Jamie has reportedly received around $36,000.

Britney Spears flirts with mystery man

Britney Spears has been spotted flirting with a mystery man in Mexico. The ‘Toxic’ singer, who has flown to Cabo San Lucas for a sunshine holiday with a group of friends, looked back to her best in a skimpy white bikini as she danced around a swimming pool with the dark-haired handsome stranger.

Britney’s steamy tango was caught on camera as a blonde pal filmed the pair. A source said: “Britney looked stunning and was clearly enjoying the attention of her male friend. At one point, the guy tipped her right back and she was screaming with laughter. They made a great couple. They also had a swim in the pool together - Britney couldn’t keep her hands off him.”

Britney looked happy and relaxed as she laughed and joked with her group of friends - which included George Maloof, the owner of Las Vegas’ Palms Hotel and Casino - as they soaked up the sun.

The 26-year-old star was later seen frolicking on a beach before cooling off with a swim in the sea.

Last week, Britney saw her ex-husband Kevin Federline retain custody of their sons Sean Preston, two, and Jayden James, 22 months.

The singer’s lawyer Laura Wasser said: “Britney is doing great. The difference in her from the beginning of the year is astonishing.”

The Britney Spears and KFed child custody saga has been postponed. The lawyers were supposed to be in court Tuesday morning to talk about next month’s trial over custody. A trial seems weird considering there’s a conservator ship in place and it’s not looking kosher to duke it out in custody court at this time. Tuesday’s hearing has been rescheduled for Friday though. When cases get postponed like that, it means that there’s a chance that lawyers are trying to settle out of court and buy more time. It looks like there’s hope of having a Britney Spears court date go smoothly. Who would have thought?

Britney Spears granted overnight visits

Britney Spears was reportedly granted overnight visits with her two children yesterday.

The latest court hearing in her lengthy custody case with ex-husband Kevin Federline allowed the singer to spend more time with her sons, Sean Preston, two, and 20-month-old Jayden James.

A court spokesperson would not comment on whether the reports of overnight visits were true, only saying: “There was a change in visitation status that was ordered by Commissioner Gordon this morning. I’m not at liberty to answer any questions about the nature of that change.”

When asked whether she was happy about the outcome of the hearing, Britney - accompanied by father and co-conservator of her estate Jamie - smiled and said: “Yes.”

The case will be reviewed in another hearing on July 15. Britney lost custody of the children in October, and had all rights to see them withdrawn following her alleged breakdown in January.

Subsequent court appearances have seen her visitation time slowly increased.

Umm, yeah, so Brit is apparently taking a break from checking out new niece Maddie to enjoy some poolside relaxation.

Not only is she smoking one cig after another, she is also chomping down some greasy chicken fingers. Mmm….

Britney Spears and Whitney Houston to do battle

Britney Spears is set to go head-to-head with Whitney Houston in a Christmas battle.

The ‘Toxic’ singer - who is currently trying to get herself back on track following her public breakdown which saw her admitted to a psychiatric hospital earlier this year - has impressed bosses with her new material and now they want her to take on equally-troubled Whitney in an end of the year album war.

A source said: “Britney has been on fire in the studio of late. During recording sessions for her last album ‘Blackout’ she was consumed by her private life. But she is determined to make a triumphant comeback. Her bosses have been amazed by the quality of tracks they’ve heard. Whitney is set for another relaunch at the same time later in the year. They are determined Britney will come out on top.”

Whitney - who has previously battled drink and drug addiction and recently divorced husband Bobby Brown - is set to work with some of the biggest music stars in the world on her new album. She will collaborate with will.i.am, R. Kelly and John Legend and teams up with Akon on her next single.

Recovering starlet Britney Spears is not only working on her mental well-being – she’s also working on getting back to the golden days of her physique. Brit, along with security, paparazzi and her mandatory iced coffee drink in tow, was spotted as she paid a visit to a Culver City gym on Tuesday. She’s trying to get back down to her pre-gurney/losing her babies/rehab/head-shaving/K-Fed/Jason Alexander weight. And if you remember how she looked during last year’s MTV VMAs, you know it’s going to take a lot more than teaching a kids’ class at Millennium Dance Studios to shed some weight off of her.

Britney Spears set to release ‘explosive’ video diaries

Britney Spears is set to release her “explosive” video diaries.

The ‘Toxic’ star - who lost custody of her two children before being admitted to a psychiatric ward earlier this year - has been filming herself for the past six months and plans to show the world what she has been through by making the tapes public.

A source said: “If she does decide to go public with the footage, it will be explosive. Although some of the footage is really sad to watch, especially the parts where she is close to breakdown - others are dynamite.”

Britney’s former boyfriend Justin Timberlake and her ex-husband Kevin Federline - who co-starred in her MTV reality show ‘Britney + Kevin: Chaotic’ with - are said to be concerned the singer will reveal intimate details about their relationships.

The source added: “Justin Timberlake and her ex-husband Kevin Federline are terrified the material will end up on the internet. Or, even worse, Britney will agree to another MTV documentary and release some of the footage through official channels.”

In January, it was reported Britney’s paparazzi boyfriend Adnan Ghalib was trying to sell six video diaries of the troubled pop princess for $2 million. The clips are believed to have shown the ‘Gimme More’ singer “ranting, raving and weeping and talking about herself in the third person.

Britney Spears Birthday Shops for Sis Jamie Lynn

Mother and daughter were out Thursday shopping for Jamie Lynn. Britney stopped by the corporate offices of Ed Hardy clothing stores looking for the perfect presents. Jamie Lynn turns 17.

According to sources, Britney was in a good mood. A rep says, “Christian (Audigier) and she were laughing as she tried on Ed Hardy sunglasses and checked out the bathing suits.”

Brit picked out several purses, scarves, and tshirts. She also picked up a few things for her brother and father.

Britney Spears Works for PETA

Britney Spears was escorted by police to get through a horde of photographers waiting for her when she was spotted leaving Tracey Ross boutique at Sunset Plaza in Los Angeles on Tuesday. Here’s something that my head needs to get through: PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) president Ingrid Newkirk has recently contacted Britney to offer her a receptionist position and the chance to win $1000 for her favorite charity. What? Did a light bulb turn on in her head when she saw Britney play a secretary on ‘How I Met Your Mother’? It was scripted. She can’t really answer a professional call.

It seems that Britney Spears may be having a change of careers. The New York Post is reporting that Poppa Spears wants her to do more TV because it’s more of a “normal 9-to-5 job” that will “keep her working and out of trouble”. It seems that the Brit conservator is looking around for more TV work for the recovering starlet and is “exploring several offers for Britney to have her own show”. Let’s hope that none of those offers are for reality TV. Poppa Spears may be in luck though as ’30 Rock’ star Tina Fey has been vocal that she would welcome Britney for a guest spot on her show – she just needs to get in contact with her.

Britney Spears is Definitely Back to Work

By some sort of miracle, our prayers have finally been heard. Britney Spears may not be as entertaining as she was during her crazy days but at least we now know she’s not going to end up like Anna Nicole Smith. The recovering starlet made her big appearance on the comedy ‘How I Met Your Mother’ on Monday and that wasn’t the only thing that happened on Monday. It seems that she may be getting back into her music as well as Britney was spotted at the Alleycat Recording Studio in Hollywood. It looks like she’s finally getting her career back on track. Maybe it’s time to get ready for a proper comeback.

Britney’s New Endeavor

Britney Spears recently got a taste of doing a decent job when she was a guest star on the comedy ‘How I Met Your Mother’ and it seems that it was just what she needed to get going. The recovering pop star is back and she’s back with a vengeance! Britney is said to be regrouping, reprioritizing and is set on getting her like and career back on track. She’s also said to be keeping busy with new projects and focusing on the future. A source close to the starlet reveals that she’s going to open her own dance studio called ‘The Basement’. Brit has been teaching classes to children at Millennium Dance Studios so opening her own studio is the natural evolution of that. Good luck Britney!

Britney Spears on TV

Here’s a look at Britney Spears during her appearance on the CBS sitcom ‘How I Met Your Mother’. The episode in which the recovering starlet makes a guest appearance is set to air on March 24. In the episode, Brit plays Abby, a secretary at a dermatologist’s office. Soon after meeting Josh Radnor’s character Ted, Abby becomes smitten even having the line “Can we have sex and then go shopping?” While shooting the episode, the show’s star Neil Patrick Harris was asked how Britney was in the role, to which he replied with “She’s been doing well. Surprisingly, no British accent.”

Britney’s Back in Blonde

Maybe it’s just a little change for her role in How I Met Your Mother, but I like it. Britney was seen out shopping at discount shop Forever 21 and she was sporting a new dirty blonde dew.

It’s still a little scraggly, but it’s a nice change from the dark brown locks she’s had for the longest. It makes me a little reminiscent for the old Britney.

Britney Spears’s TV Return

Maybe producers think casting Britney Spears will up their ratings….I mean, who can pass up the chance to watch a train wreck? It has been announced that she is going to guest star on How I Met Your Mother.

Britney’s character is a dermatologist’s assistant. The dermatologist’s part was going to be played by Alicia Silverstone, but Alicia decided that having Britney around would overshadow her, so she dropped out. Instead, the producers found a last minute replacement in Sarah Chalke, star of Scrubs. She’s used to being a fill in…she took over the role of Becky Connor on Roseanne for the last three seasons after Lecy Goranson, the original Becky, left for college.

The episode of How I Met Your Mother is set to air at the end of April.

Britney Spears ‘forgets’ to pay for top

It looks like Britney Spears is up to her old shoplifting tricks. Last year she was accused of swiping a disposable lighter from a garage and a wig from a sex shop – proving that stealing from shops is not about affordability.

On Saturday the troubled singer caused a stir once again after leaving a trendy LA store wearing a $200 top she hadn’t paid for.

Her 25 aides and bodyguards then argued with the store’s staff and with cops and fans. But friends of the star, 26, say she simply forgot to hand over cash for the $200 long-sleeved vest. She was not arrested.

Sporting jet-black hair, she had spent Saturday shopping in leopard-print top and jeans. But she then emerged from the hip Fred Segal store in Melrose Avenue wearing the black top.

A shopper said: “Britney seemed to be in a daze. She rushed around looking at coats and bags and then left with her gang of 25 people. The staff were just staring at each other, then said ‘I think she’s taken a top’. There was chaos outside with fans and police.”

Why Britney Was Released

Ok, so everyone wants to know why in the world crazy Britney was allowed to leave her mandatory 14 day stay in the psych ward at UCLA Medical Center. After all, her doctor says he wanted her to stay.

It seems he was overruled by a court representative who found “no just cause” to hold her any longer. Forget the fact that she’s been on some insane medication, acted so nuts that even her family was frightened, and changed personas so much that we can’t keep track.

Attorney Terry K. Wasserman offered his opinion, even though he is not involved in Britney’s case. He said, “This is when law and medicine collide, when a lawyer can override a doctor’s opinion.”

More Britney Issues

As if Britney Spears is in need of more drama right now, a Las Vegas fashion consultant is suing the pop wreck for damages in excess of $50,000 claiming that the fallen pop star stopped paying her for her services. Well that’s pretty obvious.

The lawsuit was filed on January 18 in Clark County District Court. Nancy Rosu is claiming that Brit had her buying clothes on her behalf then reimbursed her later. But in August 2007, Brit stopped paying her back. Rosu is suing for breach of contract and intentional infliction of emotional distress and some other things. Get in line for that one.

Britney Spears Engaged?

It’s just a typical oddball night out for singer Britney Spears, as she pops out for a bite to eat flashing a ring on her engagement finger.

On/off boyfriend Adnan Ghalib was nowhere to be seen though, instead Britney was flanked by former assistant Carla. The star fired Carla as she suspected her of leaking information to the media.

Britney seems to have lost some weight in recent weeks. Her bloated belly seems toned and she looks in generally good shape.

But no night is normal for Britney and she made a typical mistake as she went to the loo – by entering the gents’ toilet after putting the phone down to a friend. Well it’s tame compared to some of her exploits at least.

Another Baby on the Way for Britney

Umm, please tell me this isn’t happening. She’s got two boys she can’t take care of who are only 1 and 2. Surely she’s not having another.

No confirmation yet, but Britney Spears was seen at a Studio City, CA, Rite Aid store buying a pregnancy test with her current flame, ex-paparazzi Adnan Ghalib. This took place Monday night after her court catastrophe.

Is this for real? Or is this all just another stunt to get her name in the papers (although she doesn’t seem to need help with that these days). Maybe someone needs to seek medical intervention for her. I mean, how many kids do you need to have that you can’t take care of before you decide to stop?
