Matt Damon Puts on Baby Fat

Matt Damon has long been considered one of the sexiest men alive, especially in my book. Recently, though, he’s been trading in his rock hard abs for some, umm, fleshiness. Is he putting on baby fat to try and feel for pregnant wife Luciana?

Nah, he’s a sympathetic hubby, but not that much. Instead, Matt says he put on between 20 and 30 pounds for his part in The Informant, his upcoming movie. He says, “It wasn’t necessarily that I needed to be fat. It was that I needed to be doughy.”

So how did he do it? “I just stopped working out and basically just ate whatever I wanted. I ate a lot of In-N-Out, a lot of burgers, a lot of beer, and basically had a great time.”

Wow, so he basically ate like the rest of us.

50 Cent Acts

50 Cent is an actor and if you can’t believe that, here he is in character on the set of ‘Streets of Blood’ with Val Kilmer. And no, it’s not a remake of sorts of ‘Miami Vice’. The story of the movie is that a cop’s partner died during Hurricane Katrina but he later discovers that his partner may have been murdered. An investigation follows which takes the officer and his new partner into the depths of the criminal underworld.
It’s a good thing that he covered up all his bulging muscles. We don’t like ‘em big and bulky. We prefer lean and sexy!

Kate and Owen are engaged

Good news for Owen Wilson fans, the actor is reported to be engaged to Kate Hudson.

The Hollywood couple split in May last year with Kate blaming Owen’s lack of commitment. The Wedding Crashers star attempted to commit suicide soon after, slashing his wrists and taking an overdose.

However, they got back together in March this year and seem happier than ever.

Kate was pictured sporting a huge engagement ring while out in Boston last week and a pal has now confirmed that the two are engaged.

The source said: “Kate supported Owen during his low patch and that proved to him she’s the woman he wants to be with for ever. He picked out the ring and went for the biggest one he could find. He was nervous about proposing but Kate was thrilled and the whole thing was really emotional. The engagement is a natural step forward for them both and Kate’s ecstatic.”

Ice Days for the Ryan Phillipes

Mommy Reese Witherspoon is out and about in NYC with new boyfriend Jake Gyllenhaal. So, her kids Ava and Deacon (ages 8 and 4) spent some time with their father, her ex-husband, Ryan Phillippe.

It seems that the two are still together despite some break up rumors. The 24-year old singer was initially link to the 22-year old actor in October.Earlier in the year, Carrie was linked to Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo when they attended the 2007 Academy of Country Music Awards. But since then, Tony has been linked with another blonde singer, Jessica Simpson. It seems that what goes around, does come around. Did you get all that?

George Clooney gives paparazzi diving instructions

The famous actor George Clooney got very upset when some photographers were trying to take his picture while he was driving around on his bike. He left they weren’t following safety measures and that they were putting both their lives and his in great danger.
We all know he is absolutely right, the press is and has always been nosey, so why some driving rules should stop them, they bend all other rules anyway! Clooney was involved earlier this year in a motorcycle accident along with his girlfriend and they were both injured so I’m guessing now he is extra careful. For sure there will be journalists to condemn his behavior, but from my point of view he only did the right thing, maybe this way at least when dealing with him paparazzi will try to stay safe on the road.

Jessica Simpson Dates Owen For Publicity?

Apparently, her relationship with John Mayer and her recent “sightings” with Owen Wilson are meant to stir up some good publicity. “When Jess last had a new album coming out, that’s when she was introduced to John. She’s got her first country album coming out, so now she’s been conveniently introduced to Owen, who is a fellow Texan. Better yet, the public is sympathetic to him.” She is a complete wreck for me and therefore Owen should not allow her anywhere near him because her wrecked status in my mind can have the negative vibe on as he clearly hasn’t fully recovered from him depression and anyone who is seeing him if not dating him for her own benefits ahead of her album release is not a good thing to happen for him, he is certainly not in a position to act as a bunny for Jessica’s profits. She is a complete airhead, and Owen is not in a position to date her when she has something entirely different matters in her head and Owen won’t be able to cope with her lifestyles.

We’ve seen Jessica Biel swing an open umbrella at paparazzi and now it seems that Justin Timberlake can’t resist mixing it up with them as well.

Justin was in Brisbane on tour this past week. During lunch at an Indian restaurant, he promised fans that he’d sign autographs once he finishes his meal. A Brisbane paper is reporting that once he came out, he didn’t sign any autographs and even sneered at a photographer saying “I can’t believe they let you reproduce children.”

Anthony Hopkins is still haunted by the death of a crew member on the set of a film he shot in Greece 27 years ago. The star recalls the man literally dropping dead in front of him - and he hasn’t been able to get the horrible memory of moments following the tragedy out of his head ever since. I know that death is hard we all must face DEATH, But if we know where we will be in eternity that’s the easy part, I know I hope Anthony does and pray this Greek Gentleman did also. Anthony should by now have forgotten about the incident because he did not have a hand in that person’s death, it was a heart attack that was the cause of death for that person and no person knows when such an incident will take place, there are hundreds of people who die every minute in this world due to heart failures but we cannot we feel for all, yes it is bad to see someone fall down to death in front of our eyes though.

Ryan Seacrest May Sing and Dance on Emmy Show

Besides the possibility of host Ryan Seacrest singing and dancing, Sunday night’s 59th annual Emmy Awards will feature the spectacle of doctors going head-to-head against mobsters – or, to be more precise, Grey’s Anatomy braving it out for the gold against The Sopranos.

Both shows are seen as the hottest rivals for best dramatic series, though there is also stiff competition in the offing from such old and new favorites as Boston Legal, Heroes and House.

The Emmys will air live on FOX from the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles at 8 p.m. ET .

After the Emmys, Entertainment Tonight will host the stars at their 11th annual post-show bash, this year headlined by Duran Duran. The gathering will be held inside L.A.’s Walt Disney Concert Hall.

Besides its best dramatic series nomination, Grey’s also racked up supporting acting nods for four of its stars – T.R. Knight, Sandra Oh, Chandra Wilson and Katherine Heigl – while The Sopranos ended its series run with 15 nominations in all, including two for stars James Gandolfini and Edie Falco.

In the race for outstanding comedy series, the nominees are Entourage, The Office, 30 Rock, Two and a Half Men and Ugly Betty, which is the show TV columnists are predicting will be the one to beat on Sunday – as is its star, America Ferrera.

The overall top nominee going into the ceremony is HBO’s made-for-TV movie Bury My Heart at Wounded Knee, with 17.

Drew Barrymore & ‘Mac Guy’ Justin Long Heat Up

Drew Barrymore is wrapping up her summer of love with the Apple computer commercials’ “Mac Guy,” Justin Long.

The He’s Just Not that Into You costars seemed really into one another over Labor Day in Vegas, where the two were “all over each other, making out the entire time,” a witness at Jet Nightclub tells

First spotted together at Chateau Marmont on Aug. 28, Barrymore, 32, and Long, 29, brought their holiday weekend to a close back in Los Angeles at a trendy sushi restaurant with friends.

According to a Barrymore pal, “the relationship is very new.”

So new, in fact, the actress dallied with Scrubs star Zach Braff in June and rekindled old flame Spike Jonze in August.

At the end of August, a pal of the actress told, “Drew is crazy about [Jonze]. She’s definitely feeling long-term about it. They’re really great together.”

Reps for both Barrymore and Long had no comment.

Halle Berry is expecting her first child.

“Yes, I am three months pregnant,” the Oscar winner told Access Hollywood on Tuesday. “Gabriel and I are beyond excited and I’ve waited a long time for this moment in my life.”

Berry, 41, and her boyfriend, 32-year-old model Gabriel Aubry, met shooting a Versace ad in Los Angeles in November 2005 and first stepped out publicly three months later at the February opening of a Versace boutique in New York City.

Earlier this year, Berry told, “I definitely want children. Very much.” In terms of what kind of parent she’ll be, she said. “I want my kids to realize it’s only through hard work that any success or real joy comes. It’s not about money; it’s the intangible rewards – having integrity and doing what you say you’re going to do.”

Asked about marriage, Berry, who has been married twice, told the magazine that she had no plans to tie the knot again. “I will never, never get married again,” she said. “Actually, it’s just that now I’ve come to a place where I think two people can share their lives without the ring, without the piece of paper.”

In February, a friend of Aubry’s told about the couple: “They are so smitten.”
