Elisabetta Canalis to get Leverage on US TV

Elisabetta Canalis might be showing some industry pull – she will soon appear on television’s Leverage.
UPI reports the Italian MTV presenter and girlfriend of the world’s most eligible bachelor – George Clooney – is signed for five episodes of the drama series.
Canalis, 31, was seen on Clooney’s tuxedoed arm at a host of awards and film festival events, including the Academy Awards ceremony and Cannes.
TNT said Canalis will play a mysterious character known only as The Italian. Leverage focuses on a group of con artists who exact revenge against those who use power and wealth to bully others. The show stars Timothy Hutton, Gina Bellman, Christian Kane, Aldis Hodge and Beth Riesgraf.
