Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie made a big public show of togetherness as they attended the Super Bowl in Miami. The super-couple have been dogged by rumours of an impending divorce in recent weeks. But their reps have denied the stories and for the second time in two weeks they appeared together in a major event.

Just days after the Director’s Guild Awards, where they strangely didn’t do the red carpet as a couple but sat together during the ceremony, they were seen attending the biggest event in the US sporting calendar.

They attended the match between the Indianapolis Colts and the New Orleans Saints, along with other celebrities like Tom Cruise, Ashton Kutcher and John Travolta.

And it was a happy night for the Pitt-Jolie clan as the Saints scored their first Super Bowl win.

The family temporarily became New Orleans residents two years ago, after buying a house in the city while Pitt shot a film in the area.

Since then, the couple have been involved in several projects to help rebuild the city in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina.

While the tabloid press in the US have frequently reported on rumours of the couple splitting, in recent weeks the stories have hit some of the more credible publications.

There have been stories the two have met up with lawyers to discuss divorce arrangements as well as rumours that Pitt bought himself a bachelor pad.
