Matthew McConaughey to develop animated TV comedy
By Isabella
Hollywood actor Matthew McConaughey is to develop an animated TV comedy based on his brother’s life.
The comedy will be called Rooster Tales and will follow the world of a beer-swilling, redneck sheriff who marries a younger Mexican woman.
However, he then realises that he hasn’t only gained a wife but a clan with 114 members and counting.
McConaughey, 40, said: “My brother’s life is so unbelievable, we had to animate it.”
Twentieth Century Fox TV will create the project, which is still only at the script stage.
TBS and Comedy Central also bid for the show and McConaughey will executively produce the animated hit through his J.K. Livin’ Prods. banner.
