Kate Moss’s weight comments have reportedly angered her close pal and boss Sir Philip Green.

Moss, 35, revealed that one of her mottos is “nothing tastes as good as skinny feels”. Critics said that she was encouraging girls to starve themselves.

A source close to the star said: “All hell has broken loose. Kate was on the phone with Topshop boss Philip Green for ages and he was really upset. He told her that her range and Topshop caters to young girls and these kind of comments can jeopardise the firm’s image.

“Kate is most upset because her little girl Lila talks about diets, and she is conscious of trying to be a role model for her daughter.

“She honestly didn’t think there would be this big fuss. The biggest joke is that she never diets – she doesn’t eat a lot by any means, but she loves a fry-up and chocolate.”
