Jon Gosselin locked in stalemate with TLC

Jon Gosselin is locked in a stalemate with TLC, which maintains he breached his contract and cannot work for other networks.
Gosselin in his ongoing legal battle over the reality show, Jon & Kate Plus 8, from which he was recently dropped, launched a bid to prevent TLC from sealing his contract. He is countersuing TLC for $5million.
His lawyers in a caustic attack said: “The plaintiff’s contract herein will no doubt become a learning tool used in Contract 101 law school classes as an example of what not to do when drafting an agreement that you want to be enforceable.”
Gosselin in his legal actions has blocked TLC and his estranged wife Kate from going ahead with a new show, Kate Plus 8, featuring their eight children.
TLC wants the court to seal the contract and has filed for a preliminary injunction to stop Gosselin from making other non-network approved media appearances or taking on TV jobs, which will be heard on December 14 in Montgomery County.
Gosselin argues sealing the contract is a bid to cover up issues of interest to child labour authorities.
