Ugly Betty actress Ana Ortiz has said she has been using her co-stars on the show as nannies for her baby daughter.
Ana, 38, and musician hubby Noah Lebenzon became parents for the first time in June when their daughter Paloma Louise was born.
She said to In Touch: “The cast is incredibly helpful. I literally have been in the hallway handing the baby off like: ‘Hold this. I gotta go to set!’”
Ana added that her 15-year-old co-star Mark Indelicato, who plays her son Justin in the show, is a big help with Paloma.
She said: “She lights up when she sees him.”
Her Ugly Betty co-star Rebecca Romijn has one-year-old twin daughters Dolly and Charlie, but they are yet to organise a playdate.
She said: “We don’t have any playdates yet because we’re on different coasts, but we e-mail pictures. I printed pictures of her babies in a pumpkin patch, and I sent her pictures of Paloma on the set.”
