New Moon star Taylor Lautner has said he and Kristen Stewart have a relationship “very similar” to that of their characters’.
The 17-year-old actor plays werewolf Jacob Black in the hit flick, which is the second in the four-part Twilight saga.
Asked how he got into character for the movie, he said to Hollyscoop: “The number one thing that I go off is the book. That is exactly what the fans want to see and that helps.
“Also my relationship with Kristen really helps, as we almost have a relationship very similar to Jacob and Bella’s.”
Lautner is shirtless in a number of scenes in the movie and he said he was cold, but couldn’t show it.
He said: “Oh yes [it was cold], most definitely, we are filming in the Pacific North West in March, at that rain scene it was 35 degrees that day and it was not really raining.
“We were using a rain tower rain which comes from the spring and it’s ice cold. The tricky thing is that I can’t look cold.”
