Cristiano Ronaldo exhibition leaves Manchester United bosses red-faced
By IsabellaManchester United bosses were left embarrassed when they created an exhibition of football star Cristiano Ronaldo – only for him to announce he was leaving soon after.
The 24-year-old player has now signed an £80million deal to move to Spanish club Real Madrid.
It is claimed staff at the football club’s museum had set up the special exhibition all about the star and used the footballer’s medals, awards and TV clips to celebrate his career.
Ronaldo reportedly “fully co-operated” with the project but shortly after, announced his move to Real.
The exhibition is called The Best Player In The World and it will be on until the middle of August but is now being deemed a “farewell” to the star.
A source said: “It’s embarrassing.”
