Debbie Rowe to Get Custody of Michael Jackson’s Kids
By IsabellaIt has been widely reported that Debbie Rowe gave up her parental rights to the two children she bore for Michael Jackson, Paris and Michael Jr. However, the late singer’s ex-wife is poised to take full custody of them. During their custody fight back in 2005, Debbie attempted to give up her parental rights saying that Michael was the best father ever. The judge who presided over the hearing initially ruled her rights to be terminated but then reversed his decision. The lawyers who represented Michael at the time said that under the law, the Department of Children and Family Services must conduct a parental fitness investigation before parental rights are terminated and that didn’t happen with Debbie. Sources say that she will ask for custody and that she stands to get a huge amount of child support from Michael’s estate.
