Katie Price reportedly had a “gut instinct” that estranged husband Peter Andre would leave her for months before they split.
Peter, 36, announced he was splitting with Katie, 31, last month after three and a half years of marriage.
Katie’s pal Michelle Heaton has spoken out about their split and said: “Kate wasn’t surprised that he’d left. She said she’d had a ‘gut instinct’ for a month or two that he was getting ready to go.
“She’d even said to me on a few occasions: ‘Pete’s going to leave me one of these days.’ But I thought it was a joke. Pete had his reasons for going and he told her why.
“Whether it’s a justifiable reason or not, I don’t know. People will have to judge for themselves when it comes out. But he wanted out. What shocked her most was the way it was announced the next day.”
She added: “She was like: ‘Hold on a minute, you’ve only just left, and now it’s on the news and we haven’t even had a chance to talk about things properly.’
