Airline Employee Blamed for Joel Madden Discrimination
By IsabellaGood Charlotte rocker Joel Madden was almost denied entry onto a flight on British Airways after an employee told him to cover up his tattoos which were of religious, familial and non-sexual designs. Can you say discrimination? Joel ended up covering his tattoos and got on the flight since he didn’t want to get stuck behind but not without talking about it on his Twitter. British Airways is now trying to defend themselves, blaming it all on the employee. According to the airline, “We don’t understand why the employee took it upon himself to enforce regulations that don’t exist. British Airways has no policy against tattoos at all. The only dress policy is that people dress appropriately. There’s absolutely no prohibition of tattoos.”
