Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes’s unexpected midnight visit to flashbulb capital Saint-Tropez kicked off what one veteran paparazzo dubbed “a genuine photo-riot.” The couple drew crowds Friday night in a scene that VIP Room clubowner Jean Roch calls “crazy, crazy, crazy. It was an amazing surprise. So it looks like the photographers in Saint-Tropez had never seen the couple before that they broke out into frenzy at mid night. Holmes, wearing a light-weight black dress embroidered with ruby-colored stones, and a jeans-clad Cruise appeared relaxed and friendly with the surprised photographers outside. This is what we can call as night duty waiting for these high profile celebrities. Thankfully they were not accompanied by the kid or else there would have been an even bigger barrage of photographers clicking their cameras wildly at the couple and the troop.
